Nintendo chief Satoru Iwata has some thoughts about Nintendo's next hardware—and what it needs to before it moves on. This is from Iwata's most recent Q&A with shareholders and is in light of Nintendo's struggle to make its Wii U console a hit.

As a game UI/UX designer myself, I can confidently say "yes please, more of this!"

I've always pictured Steam like this.

From what I undesrtood.

Inspired by the likes of Zelda, Xenogears and Castlevania (Symphony of the Night, specifically), Heart Forth, Alicia recounts tale of a young wizard-slash-warrior girl trying to save the world from ultimate evil. Now, the world looks like this:

all I said is it took him 7 years to make this. interpret as you wish.

It took him 7 years and then he's even asking for money on kickstarter.

it took him 7 years to make pixel art

I personally won't go for it. Slight improvements to textures, 1080p and anti aliasing isn't enough for me to pay full price for the game again. I played the hell out of it last year, don't need to buy it all over again. If you do that is your prerogative and I won't judge you for it. Just seems overpriced for what is

If you take that perspective, which I think is probably wise, you also need to be aware of and participate in actual solutions to help those people.

Well hello there Mr. half cup full.

Goat Simulator was a success, why not Cat Simulator?

A question: I know a bit about shaders and rendering, so I know that you have to use some grainy/noisy effects to achieve certain effects in real time rendering. But why is that "Kitchen" reflection at 0:26 so grainy? Especially dynamically grainy, as in random every frame? Wouldn't you want to have a constant effect,

In the mean time there's goat simulator...

Obligatory.

Thanks man! A serious reply was what i was totally looking for.

"This video is private"

Oh golly, maybe this year gamers will grow up a little bit and realize that the imagined wrongdoings of a company that makes video games aren't even remotely in the same league as the actual 'bad companies' out there.

Or maybe they'll continue to do exactly what they've always done and be loud-mouthed children because

I'd recommend giving Black Flag a go. I've played every Assassin's Creed except the Vita one, and I think ACII and IV are the only good ones. IV is probably the most fun I've had with an Assassin's Creed game, which granted, isn't saying a lot, but I think it's worth a try even if ACIII soured you on the series.
