I can't claim it as mine, but it is the best of that particular meme, for sure

My salesman was great for my used Leaf, and the paperwork guy was too, but manager was terrible. Came in with a trade-in quote from a close CarMax, told them I'd they didn't beat it then they're not getting it, and the manager came back a grand lower. Salesman looked embarrassed.

Dude, the average person is an idiot. Come on. Like carlin (I think) said, imagine the average person, then realize half of all people are dumber than that.

I understand your point on the whole, and agree with it in many cases. Cars doesn’t happen to be one of them, as what comes from the mfr is the same regardless of dealer, rather than a mom and pop grocery that might have local stuff your big box doesn’t. But I see your point, and good for you for making choices that

Im truly not trying to be a jerk here, but I understand that what is an academic discussion to me is to you a livelihood.

And also, I’m not talking a hundred bucks here, I’m talking 500-1000. Less than that but I like you better? Sure.

For 1), that's. It going to happen every time. You'll have in the lot for longer you'll be more willing to move, or more of one in stock. Unless it does happen every time, and then why should you succeed as a business if someone can do the same thing for cheaper? And yes, I do mean same, I'm not expecting price

1) then offer a competitive price

Thst last one will happen soon if you count the rav4 prime. Of not, it'll happen the day there's a rsv-4 ev

You think tundras and Tacoma's command a premium on Craigslist? Check out baja prices and weep

Right now I own a leaf and a beater tundra bought off Craigslist for nothing. Had I the budget, I’d get this instead of both. So I gotta drop the tailgate to haul drywall; so what. For the vast majority of what I use the beater truck for, this would still manage. Plus, gas free commute. Yes a 8 foot bed is ideal. But

I pay good money. I might just have one made for the ridiculousness of it

Above the lol needs to be a large sized glossy page coffee table book

Yeah, but half of those are rick rolls

Right, but who is providing that defense? And at what cost? One lawsuit, and it folds. Steve lehto gonna donate their service? Immoral Minority?

Thanks for this. It's greatly appreciated.

Fellow NB owner here. I too put my kids in the front in their car seat, but rarely if ever do I leave the immediate neighborhood. If the street is major enough to have a yellow line, I'm hesitant. Yeah, it's an 01, but it's basically structurally the same as the first ones on 1990. You're not wrong here

I do not agree with everything you write (far from it, actually), but this:

Your second point is the big one, I think. They're going to get their money in some way, might as well get a safety inspection out of the deal
