Goalie was being smart (after the dumb pass) by not standing in front of the goal. That way, if he misplays a back pass and wiffs it doesn’t roll in behind him.

It’s tough, isn’t it? I’ll admit I react to your post as if it were more serious than it likely was, because there are people who do think like that, and it scares the shit out me for my little girl.

Fair enough, and an honest, thoughtful response on kinja! Who would’ve thought! Thanks.

It’s heavily implied that raph did the right thing by not naming his car, or else he’d be girly. That means being like a girl is bad. Which means that girls are what, not as good as guys? Like i said to someone else, I got a daughter and a son. When it’s time for their first cars, and my daughter names hers, I say

No, I’m just fine. But calling someone girly, as if being like a girl is worse than being like a guy, is misogyny, plain and simple. And I comfortable calling that out.

Not really. I got a son and a daughter. First car time rolls around I tell my daughter go ahead and name it! Tell my son, don’t do that shit, it’s girly. See the double standard, and the derogatory treatment of one’s actions just because she’s a girl? That’s bullshit.

Or, how about to each their own, and the judgemental misogyny can piss off?

True enough.

“The stagnation and complacency among usual title contenders that allowed Leicester to...” That’s saying they won just because everyone else was down. What, was arsenal only going to drop two this year? Was that the expectation?

I still think no one is giving enough credit to Leicester. People keep saying it was arsenals’ title to lose this year, but that’s assuming Leicester would slip or fall back. They never did. They lost three games this year, that’s it! You have to go back decently far to great teams to better that. Arsenal not

That’s great,+1

Looks like the reader sent you more than a tip.

Absolutely. Exit speed on each corner must be 90% of entry speed for that mini.

I bet that mini never even lifted. Full throttle the whole way.

I have a new pilot, and it’s pretty big. That said, windshield to front bumper is significantly smaller than the 12 year old cr-v we replaced. I thought it was just proportions, but it’s legitimately 2/3 the hood. It’s bigger than it looks or drives.

I’ve had a new pilot for about ten days now, and am consistently stunned with how good the ride is.

I’ve only had my new pilot for less than two weeks, but the engine does indeed like to rev. Red line at 6750ish. But it’s got decent grunt below 3000rpm.

Someone at Leicester better be reading up on Blackburn and Leeds right now.

Goddamn, that accent in Talladega nights was spot on, wasn’t it.
