Northern Virginia but Montana tags.
Makes me think my NB Miata is too big and powerful
That’s right: Atlantic salmon on cedar planks.
Awesome article on the original Zonda, which is 20 years old (!) and had less than 400 hp (!!!)
Katies was amazing
Since the Miata got hit, I need to submit a claim for fix. I got some pdr type places saying 500. I'm sure a body shop would be much more. I want the best job, but can't cross 75% of assessed value, or salvaged. I don't know assessed value for a 2001 Miata with 170k in northern Virginia. How do I figure that out?
Got hit today. Minding my own business. Stationary at a traffic light in middle lane. Huge truck inches forward and right to swing wife to make a left. Hits me. Guy was super nice and apologetic. Officer declared him at fault as I was in my lane and stationary. I just hope this doesn't total me. It's a 2001 with 170k…
I got two choices for an alignment for the Miata.
My God, it’s so long! 233 inches, 3ft more than my wife’s pilot. My God.
Went to cars and coffee, then the air show at Andrews, where I saw both the air Force Thunderbirds and the Navy’s blue Angels. Absolutely amazing. Detailed write up sometime later. But seriously: incredible
I need recommendations for your finest cheapest number and class magnets! What you got?

Gonna let the springs settle, get an alignment, level out the sway bars, and have a blast. Up next: sparco Sprint install, and wrapping it in blue!
Did some exploratory wrenching today. Found out I’m able to loosen the bolts on the rear shocks, so I’ll do those Thursday. Couldn’t get the front to budge. I’ll give it another try after more PB blaster, but if I have to take it to a pro at least I’ll have it half done. With the front and rear sway bars installed,…
I liked it! A lot!
I was raised Catholic, my wife is Jewish. This weekend we got a double header: Passover and Easter
Im debating purple or blue for the Miata, either blue fire or wicked purple, both from 3m. If anyone could make that happen, I’d love it. Bonus points for bronze wheels. Thanks!
Rented this Malibu for a week in California. It’s a comfy cruiser. I enjoyed it. We went to a wedding, and brought the kids, 3 and 5 years old. They played with their older cousins a lot, but my wife or I was never more than a few feet away. So I was able to witness some unrelated, unknown woman come up and correct my…
