I tried the first 15 minutes but it was too badly written to go on. Felt totally pointless. I think Levinson thinks he’s pulling a NWR vibe, but it’s just flat and boring and full of lifeless, pointless characters. 

And yet, it’s somehow better than the zero people who give a fuck what you have to say.

It was bad but somehow entertaining enough. I loved The Stand miniseries when I was a kid, but tried rewatching a few years ago and it was absolutely terrible. 

The Pet Sematary remake has zero redeeming value. Nothing scary, nothing sad. The daughter getting run over by the semi truck is laugh out loud funny. At least in the original, Gage being run over was really horrifying. 

To be fair, there’s just such an embarrassment of riches when it comes to bad King adaptations. It’s hard to pick only 15. 

the upside is that the longer we can keep lunatic right wingers busy typing on the internet, the longer we can keep them from planning some horrible mass atrocity.

I judge the guy based on two things - first, him being an alleged musician, and that music sucking ass. Second, the racist garbage (also punching down) words that came out of his own edgelord mouth. I’ll raise my kids to not give people like that a second of their time. You can keep on suckling, piggy.

I deal with these calls constantly. Someone barking in Chinese, some robot threatening that the IRS has issued a warrant for my arrest, or people constantly asking if my house is for sale. I hope capital punishment will be considered for these ghouls. 

This. I didn’t expect him to die on that plane, sure, but I had been expecting him to die for 3+ seasons, so it wasn’t THAT much of a shock.
