I don’t know how much weight this holds but I had read their intention is to do the first game in the first season, make the second game into seasons 2 and 3, and then be done with it.

So glad to hear it’s doing well, because the show has been great so far. As much as I’m into this season, I’m really hoping it does well enough to get picked up for seasons 2 and 3. The story of the first game (and the liberties they’re taking with the story) is so compelling, but the second game blew my mind even…
There were a lot of mentions online and in articles for several weeks suggesting that Episode 3 was going to be a game changing episode. So, people didn’t know what they were in for necessarily, but there had been a lot of talk ahead of that particular episode.
what happened to this guy being on a fast track to living on a different planet? can we get back to that plan?
yes why not be insulted, when being insulted is an option. I commend you!
I bought a PS4 in 2014 solely so that I could play The Last of Us, and I’ve played it many times through since then, so I’ve been close to the story for awhile, and I think you’re right. The show, so far, isn’t typical zombie fare, which as much as I love, I’ve been burnt out on for the last decade because of The…
Great article, and thank you. Too many of the Kinja articles about TLOU are just beat for beat retellings of the episode. I’ve played the game for years but haven’t done a full playthrough in a long time and didn’t remember some of those Bill and Frank details.
Exactly. If X and Pearl were snubbed then so was Tommy Wiseau’s The Room.
Nope wasn’t Oscar caliber. Like not even close. To be fair, neither was Maverick, or half the other bullshit nominated. But Nope was not good enough.
Maybe if those movies were any good, they’d get nominated. They’re half-baked nostalgia trips, which seems to be Ti West’s only hand. The House of the Devil was a fun trip, but everything since then has been total filler.
I guess he couldn’t mash the buttons as fast as the other elite athlete that day.
What a pointless whine.
So, you’re just responding to your own past comments? Wow, tell us more.
wow, really??
I’m sure they have. I was being sarcastic to the OP who is complaining about a tv show being made.
A better title for this article would have been “Here’s a pointless opinion piece hoping to capitalize on the success of TLOU with a lot of clicks”.
lol I was about to say “wait til you have kids”
Yeah, it’s one of the most popular games in history, but no one really wanted to play it.
keep up the good fight
Nah, it’s a video game. So why don’t you make a video of the cinematic parts and upload it to YouTube and get millions of hits? The game is cinematic. It’s not the same as a live action show. If you’re mad about it, just don’t watch.
