I constantly remind myself that NP/CP is not an exercise in whether or not I would buy the car in question, but whether the car in question is worthy of being purchased by anyone for the price listed. I was never a fan of Dale Sr., nor do I like Chevys as a matter of general principle, much less Luminas which have

I bet the pilots were giddily requesting their ground speed readout from ATC, only to be one-upped by some asshole in an SR-71.

If you even considered buying it, at any price, you’ve never driven one. A single 2 mile test drive would change your mind. Every red light is an anxiety-inducing event, every merge makes you wish for mercy, side roads are the only option, as these are illegally slow for expressways. A friend of mine who had one was

Lord help me, but these, along with their S10 brethren, were my farm trucks growing up.

What I don’t get is why more people aren’t up in arms about giving out these huge breaks to the richest corporations on the planet, then we wonder why taxes on the small guy go up or don’t go down. Why don’t we make them pay their fair share? It just floors me. Unless its small business, no large company deserves

“I would prefer something all-wheel-drive”

This is like those people deriding helmets.

But the old 403 begs for it. Just look how it dresses, all flat and straight with underpasses and great sight-lines and farms for as far as the eye can see.

I’m a car guy and wondered the same thing, so I did a long test drive in a Model 3 with the performance upgrade.

You heard it here first folks, the guy who doesn’t live in fear thinks every missed prediction is absolute evidence of a conspiracy.

Turn off Fox news dude.

Ah. So one guy who isn’t an actual scientist said something wrong, and that’s proof that the whole concept is wrong. Gotcha.

lol

If banks and investors can make their money in their lifetime, of course they will.

Yes. Nobody should deny that atmospheric temperature and C02 levels have fluctuated throughout history. The main point is, CO2 and temp have never increased nearly as rapidly as in the last ~100 years.

I like this chart better. Really drives home the significance of the temperature change on the scale of world history.

I like V8s and making fun of die-hard eco activists as much as the next guy, but man, outright denial of climate change just makes you look like a dumbass.

You’re going to use some prediction about Mt. Kilimanjaro as your measuring stick on global warming?

Well, for one thing the top speed is 28mph. For another, the body seems to be only slightly more substantial than my kid’s Cozy Coupe.

You just killed at least 3 readers with that statement. I hope you’re happy with causing all those heart attacks, you monster.

Who cares what it looks like?  Nobody buys a semi because it looks good.
