To improve the efficiency you could use some sort of electric bus. Chain them together to increase capacity. Also recharging as they drive through the tunnel would be handy.

Hyundai IONIQ EV has only 124 miles range, for only 6k more you can get a base Model 3 with almost double that range. Plus much better performance.

The center console looks like it could have been lifted from any early 00's Japanese economy car. Nothing about the inside of this car, visually, says “premium”. It is cheap though. 32k fully loaded is hard to beat.
