Yup. Several times people have mistaken me for my father’s wife and thought my mom, my dad’s ex-wife, was his mother in law. even when I was 18 someone thought I was my dad’s wife. I look older than I am, but woah, that was rough.

I said the same thing. There’s no way that machine ate through all that money. Edith would have been worth hundreds of thousands, if not perhaps millions. I can’t imagine the other wives had much less. the house would have been a moneypit for sure, but surely something could have been done to cover the hole!
