But Columbus DID know how to use maps; his main problem was that he believed the world to be 33% smaller than it actually is, and that he had a poor understanding of celestial navigation. If he couldn’t work a map, he probably wouldn’t have reached America at all, and he certainly wouldn’t have been able to return to

I actually love that fight in complete darkness. It adds variety and the strike itself is a lot of fun.

I like Ricky Gervais and his humor. And honestly, all the hate and outrage he gets here on this site just makes me shake my head.

After having tried Warface (FYI don’t, its literally the definition of Pay 2 Win), I have zero faith in Crytek’s ability to deliver on quality. And this is coming from someone who really liked Crysis 2.

I would watch it just for Ewan McGregor. It would be awesome if they did an Obi-Wan movie featuring Satine/Mandalore though.

I’m a bit worried, not so much because I see a lot of mystique to the character, but because I don’t know that there’s much backstory to fill in and worry it will be filled with angst and loss instead. I like Solo as a man who is sometimes selfish and dishonest because that’s just who he is, and he has to cope with

When Dave Franco leads a list you know the list sucks very badly.

I heard only good things about Undead Nightmare, and Ballad of Gay Tony was way better than GTA IV’s main story in my opinion.

I would like to know this, too! There’s a lot of soft porn on there too, for example. Meanwhile, other videos get flagged and taken down in seconds if a girl shows too much cleavage. I wonder if it’s because YouTube is so vast, and they can’t keep up with it all.

I also had a pretty good experience w/ the alpha. More server connectivity issues than gameplay issues.

Necessary: no. Fun as hell: Oh HELL YEAH!!!

Not if you’re looking through residential windows.

Disclaimer: If you like the way vinyl sounds, then that’s fine with me; I’d never presume to dictate your personal tastes. That said: WTF?!?! Back in the ‘40s, ‘50s and ‘60s when I was growing up we had no choice but to put up with all the crap of vinyl: low bandwidth, low dynamic range, surface noise, rumble, surface

“I know timeline-wise it makes no sense to have mammoths and dinosaurs”

The truth is being told!

Yeah this kinda bugs me. I once met a white guy who was born and raised in China, he had a Chinese name and as thick an accent as anyone I have ever met from there. I thought he was some random white dude being an ass at first.

The dead end was frustrating, because, as a fat feminist, I was hungry to find out who the original poster could be so I could then eat them.

So glad I’m not the only one that interpreted that shot that way. Between that, the repeating joke about everyone trying to go back to Jakku (a stab at the series constantly revisiting Tatooine), and most of all the scene when they compare the Starkiller base to he Deathstar, I felt like this movie was poking fun at

He was genetically engineered, I don’t think he was really any race. The name implies he may have been Indian and he was portrayed by a Mexican, I’m not sure of the issue there either. Should we give out about Lucy Liu playing Watson, he’s supposed to be white and male? Or Samuel L. Jackson playing Nick Fury.
