I’m still fairly early in the game, and have not picked up the armor yet. Are you implying that it’s ok to park the armor at the Red Rocket without building Red Rocket up as a settlement? Like, I can just leave the armor there with no defenses and it will be there when I come back X days later? No one is going to…

I don’t disagree. I was just using his comment to point out how developers try to make the most of new processors/memory and end up slowing things down while I’m expecting new things to run lightning fast. Can you imagine a simple 360-like OS on the new XB1 hardware? Everything would pop up in an instant.

I don’t understand why it’s not “360 fast.” The thing I hate about developers and new tech is that we get these new hardware with way better specs, and yet they program something that is so memory/processor intensive that everything runs just as slow, if not slower. Like wtf. Why can’t you give me what I had before…

Why wouldn’t it blow up? There is more than one turret on that vehicle. The other one(s) is controlled by AI. It actually makes perfectly logical sense. The AI still shoots even if the player chooses not to pull their weight.

That’s why you wait and see for games like this. Sure, I’m hyped for it, too, but there is no real reason to play it day one. It’s not a multiplayer game where others will rank up with better gear and know the maps better than you if you wait too long. It’s a single player game. If anything, waiting will be better…

I’ll wait for the game to be free then. I felt like the franchise got worse with each iteration, Reach then H4, so if you’re saying H5 is a step down (and based on what I’ve heard and read) I’ll be saving my money then for something else.

I mentioned it in another reply: I don’t use batteries to make the controller weigh less. Also, I hate wireless. And I haven’t tried this, but wouldn’t it take a second or two to sync up the wireless when the wired connection breaks? I can’t imagine it’s completely seamless.
