Thanks for the suggestions, but none of those interest me enough to buy on day one. I don’t do music games (because they contain too many songs I don’t like), I only have Xbox (360, XB1) so no Uncharted for me :(, Assassin’s Creed games should never be bought on day one as they will drop to $20 in no time, and I’ll

Because Best Buy gives you $10 back for preordering. So on top of my 20% GCU discount, I’d effectively only be paying $38 + tax to get it on day one.

I thought you were going to post the horse poop video! Haha. That totally leaned me towards the “buy” category. ;)

Yup, good point. I have it preordered and am keeping the preorder. Not just for the beta, but for the gameplay. Hopefully the game ends up being good.

That releases in November. I already have plenty of games preordered in November. Lol.

I have checked the release calendar. R6S was the only October title I was planning to get. I don’t do indie/arcade/casual games and there are no other major AAA title that interests me in October.

Are you f*%$ing kidding me? This does not bode well to delay a game so close to launch. Now what am I gonna play in October? Guess I should preorder MGS then since I now have an extra month to play that...

Is Rowling running low on money already? I thought she was richer than the Queen at one point?

“Trek Core have some photos from filming that reveal a humongous set that appears to be a crash-landed Federation Starship. It’s unclear if this is meant to be the Enterprise or just another Federation vessel that’s crashed.”

Meh. That wouldn’t work in the US. The seats would be so far apart, it would make the back rows all useless.

Well, technically it’s possible for Bungie not to have your email. When I log in to Bungie, I use my Live credentials. Bungie doesn’t see my log in or password. An IT expert could explain it in more detail, but essentially I sign into Live and it tells Bungie’s site that I’m legit, so Bungie’s site lets me in. They

The strange coins were given to people who had an email linked to their Bungie account. Another medium for Bungie to encourage people to play. Lol.

Haha. That was exactly what happened with one of our friends. We played all week to earn strange coins. Everyone was going to save them for a good exotic in the future. This one guy says he’s going to buy the Gally because it looked cool. The rest of us laughed at him for wasting his exotic slot on a rocket launcher.

The game doesn’t explain anything at all. It’s stupid. If I didn’t waste my time on forums and stuff, I wouldn’t have a clue what’s going on.

But exotics can be upgraded beyond 365 so it’ll still be relevant. Only legendaries cannot.

I personally think they’re selling it more to hype up the game and get people back on it. Not sure about everyone else, but the number of people playing Destiny on my friends list has dropped precipitiously. I never see more than 1 playing it, and most days of the week, there is no one playing it at all. Given all the

:( yeah, this is BS.

Godzilla, though? Why, people, why?”

Same. It’s not like Superman deliberately trashed the city. He was fighting other people with superpowers. How was he supposed to save everybody from toppling buildings and falling debris as Zod sliced through them with his heat ray? That’s such a lame complaint.

HAHAHA. That’s gold!
