Came to post this, was not disappointed.
We used to do this with the family minivan or any of our cars really. Fortunately, I never ate the bumper, fell off, nor died.
Daily drivers stay outside, mine the last 4 years since I turned my garage into a woodshop (way more money in custom furniture than storing my Fusion or Focus in there).
The wife had one for her first car. She bought it because it was purple. No other reason, just that it was purple, had 4 wheels, and sort of moved under it’s own power. Of course, you couldn’t let it go below 1/4 tank or the fuel filter would clog (I got so damn good at changing it out, I could have the clogged one…

I worked on a friends car once that did exactly that. Oddly, the biodiesel the person was running prior to pumping the tank 3/4 full of gas helped save most of the engine and components. We had to drain the tank and lines completely, clean the injectors, and replace the injector pump. All in all the cost was in the…
