Boo hoo hoo. My heart bleeds.
Boo hoo hoo. My heart bleeds.
10 years from now I’d rather have the ‘yota then the raptor, even if they were the same price, pretty sure most other longterm owners would too
I’ve owned 3 Toyota trucks none were crap, now my father in laws 2010 F150, that was crap. Ford had to get a body shop cut his rocker panels off and replace them, this was in 2014. Driveshaft had to be replaced, exhaust manifolds, rear end, leak in the cab, 3 sets of brakes by 50,000 miles. Now that was a flaming turd…
Four years? From my time in car sales I rarely saw the target market for these things (younger people) dipping below six years. Someone came in and traded a 2007 PT Cruiser that they still owed $5k on for a new loaded Dart.
96-month term, 16.99% interest rate, and they rolled over the negative equity but hey at least…
As an owner of a 2016 TRD-OR I can say the price is justified. Yes you can get this or pay even more for a limited and look like some old twat.
I think the question we should be asking is whether the Raptor is worth $50k...because Ford.
I’m just going to wait 8 years when all these trucks have 95,000 miles and sell for $40, 000 on the used market.
Every time a company follows through and makes an enthusiast-focused vehicle like this, there is this... focus on what it might lack and how expensive it is. Can’t we simply enjoy the fact you can still get a 4x4 crew cab with a stick in this country in 2016?
Uh, you forget the Toyota will last two decades and hardly depreciate, the Raptor will fall apart and be worthless in 5 years.
