Nice video. Looked like a bobble-head Ballaban at the end
Haha, I was thinking the same thing...
Ha ha, that’s a great way to put it! I’m always amazed at how fast the SV is on the street, blast right up to ~100mph, then hit a wall. Fastest ever on it was ~120, even with full tuck.
Great write up on the SV! I got a 2002, last of the curvy model, in college as my main transportation and it was a great workhorse. Hardly any maintenance needed, never worried about the engine or transmission, and after taking care of the front springs and oil as mentioned above, it was perfect everyday bike.
Awesome good for them! Now when can we see a video of it being drifted on?!? i.e. Gymkhana 9, Chriss Harris, Tuercked, Foust, etc....
Nice examples there, star for you!
Thank you for that great reply. Glad to see the black line again.
Great write up, really like the comparo of the engines plotted out in excel.
Awesome, thank you!
Also, what bike is based off of? Trellis frame makes me think Ducati, but I’d expect a V-twin then and I count a 4 cylinder. I see the big rear sprocket and back pegs for stunting/wheelies.
Thanks for the video, but seriously, how does this guy ride without a visor or goggles??? I’m such a p*ssy in the cold, my eyes water up quick if I don’t have something to keep the wind out.
Where’s that porsch trolling video at from a week ago? Please post it again for this!
God I’d forgotten how sexy and beautiful of a car they were (especially for a FWD). Thanks!
Ha ha, did the same thing. Took a while to completely get rid of the shell. Also took a torch to completely cut the frame as we didn’t have long enough saw blades.
Honda XR’s are great bikes that are durable as hell and just require fuel, oil changes, and chain maintenance.
Yeah that sounds about right. F* changing those spark plugs unless you are double jointed and have small hands
What about that stupid chicken tax for light trucks? Let’s get rid of that too
Awesome! I love how they control rotation thru gas & braking, not steering wheel. Look at the wheels as he slides by, they are pointed straight ahead, no Oppo. Great car control and beautiful slide.
Very cool looking, now Mazda, just take everything from the front wheels forward and slap it on the new RX-7/9 or whatever it’s going to be called.
