Great job, I really like how you broke out all the different costs, and made it down to earth for people that don’t have access to spare parts. It’s great to see for somebody starting out what to expect.

Haha, perfect reply, star earned!
Nicely worded write up, honest and to the point, thank you for taking the blinders off and telling it how it really is.
Well said, you’ve earned a star for that. I was just talking about how the drift scene is very open, laid back, and fun, and you see more radical (in the actual sense of the word) stuff at a drift event than most other track events. Other than lemons, where else do you see hobbled together parts to make a car run, and…
Dammit Houston, why do you have to be in the headlines like this, get your sh*t together. -Coming from another Houstonian.
I just want to leave this here:

Did you ever like powersliding a car? There is no explaining, you either like it or not. Best way to find out is go catch a ride at a drift event to see what all the hype is about, or get a rwd car and try it yourself. Hint: its addictive, and that’s coming from a former autocrosser. Still like to go to the track when…
That has been my same thought ever since the Z06 was announced, give me the suspension, brakes, coolers, etc from it and a nice more powerful NA engine.
As a fellow Texan, I can second this, all of this. Drive time is much more important than mileage. Wish we had higher speed limits on the highways between the cities.
I’m sorry, but F this lawyer. How can you say “Our position is that he wasn’t driving recklessly and that he didn’t commit either of these offenses” with a straight face? If it wasn’t him, then who the hell did, and how can you say he didn’t do it with all the crap found in the car?
Honestly can say: Wow, way to go Hyundai, you’ve come a long way.
Heck yeah, I know on my old xr400 I never had to do more than oil changes and clean/lube the chain, and it ran forever. B*tch to kick start at times, but a reliable tank after that.
Great reply, thank you. I figured it had to do with monitoring the turbo. The way they wrote up the description though, makes it seem like that sensor gave a 30% boost, which I could see being done with a twin-scroll or variable vane turbo, or similar hardware change.
Good for Infiniti, but I have a question about this statement:
Man I agree, start in the dirt, so much more forgiving. The only things you don’t pick up from a dirt bike is the steering angle is much less on a street bike, and dealing with traffic.
Morgan 3 wheeler for daily use.
2008 Mini Cooper S. NO real space in the engine compartment, and no matter how much you worked on eleminating squeeks and rattles inside, the interior would just find another way to irritate you. Also, walnut blasting the damn valves to rid the power robbing, surge inducing carbon buildup (even with catch cans…
Congrats on your first bike, what did you end up getting? I agree that this re-styled six50 makes it look like it’d be a fun bike.
