I like the nose and that's it. The dash is a bad version of the X3 dash, which is actually pretty nice. The front 3/4 profile pics make the side of the car look a lot like the current model. The rear end looks EXACTLY like the new 5 only smaller. Not a good move.

Wait, so this was used by Lotus as a stool? What kind of a message is Lotus trying to send here? "This is what we think of Colin Chapman. Hundreds of strangers should place their bums upon his ideas."

I mean, yes, you have a point but from my perspective Le Mans '55 was more about a freak accident combined with a lack of safety for the fans. If the cars had been safer you might have had a more survivable accident, but saving the life of a driver wouldn't have changed the outcome. The shrapnel that went into the

I once used to spend time hanging out with the daughter of a billionaire. She was in college and drove a new BMW 318i. It had all the options on it but it was still the 4-cyl one. It replaced a beater used Camry that she had for her first car. Somehow I don't think he was worried about what the Joneses though

Or were walking down a street somewhere within a block or so of the highway they were on...or were in your house next to the highway...or...

The bad news is that most of these kids probably already have accounts with their own names on them that have enough money in them to cover any sort of fine you might throw at them.

Well if we're including new but not-on-the-market-yet cars then I propose inclusion of the new BMW 3-Series.

Is it surprising that the classic car market is polarizing? The average person doesn't have the extra cash to justify or keep something like an extra couple of cars around these days and when they do they don't want to spend a lot of money on them. The high end of the market is dominated by a game billionaires have

This car was simply incredible to behold in person. If I'd had the money I'd have been in the bidding for it, and I'm not even usually a pre-war car lover. The thing stops you dead in your tracks as your eyes try to take in all of the details and impossible glamor. It's really something that belongs in that

Keep in mind that Leno also owns a Miura (or maybe two).

Points deducted for use of modern rear-view mirror; too much cheap looking wood paneling on the interior (should have gone with birds eye maple at least); and the rear of the car looks wrong—it sits too high for an 'S', the taillights are positioned a little too close to the center I think, the 6 tail pipes are FAR

Couldn't agree more. All it needs is a small bar across the headrests and the deed would be done. Personally I think it would have looked better as an official targa anyway...but then again, when in Monaco...

The new 7 is spectacular in my book, especially in lwb M-Sport design spec. Rode in one the other day and it was incredible, though a total waste unless you're going on long trips with more than one other person.

He'll go the way of Ryan Dunn some day. Hopefully he won't take anyone with him.

Maybe I'm weird but I've always hated the Jerrari. He had two of them and only one looked like this one. It's terribly ugly, especially in full profile.

This doesn't even bother me at all. I get far more enraged by the soccer moms who have bought vehicles so large that they cannot park them properly and expect that when they whip into the spot and are a foot or more over the line on the passenger side that it's ok to leave the car like that and not correct it.

How much for the R8?

Don't forget the previous DUI!

Or, for that matter, that the person drinking isn't at least a semi-functional alcoholic (like Dunn must have been) who drinks so regularly that they can have 6+ drinks in 4 hours and not appear intoxicated at all. It's a stupid law.

Yes, it does.
