@38thsignal: For sure those are future classics to some degree or another.

@38thsignal: Yeah but even those are getting old enough to almost be considered vintage—except for the new Stratos obviously. Such a shame. Sigh indeed.

@38thsignal: For real. Modern stuff just can't match vintage for real artistry.

@38thsignal: Even worse, look at how lovely the original Galibier was compared to the bulky new one!

@s1102879: And? It doesn't matter if a million of them were pulled over without incident that day. We're talking about this particular scenario.

@Attila.S2C: Good lord. You could feel the car skipping around, losing traction, and getting a little air early in the stage from the changes in cross slope of the road from lane to lane. That made my stomach tingle.

What could possibly go wrong?

@Jagvar: Mmm, the prototype...you can see why Mr. Lamborghini exclaimed, "Countach!" when he saw it!

@flpwch: And worth every penny.

@Wunno Sev: Agreed. My mother drove these in the 80s and she still pines for them even now. She goes on about how solid they were and how you felt totally safe and secure in them when you shut the door. By far the best big MB ever in my opinion too.

@Corsonmcnash: There is a decent chance that is me in the Franzia costume, FWIW.

@Turbineguy - now with reheat!!: I'd be willing to bet her idea of a Bentley is a Continental GT or Continental GC. She probably doesn't even know what a Mulsanne is.

@1AJeremy: Henry Fredrick Stanley Morgan would like a word with you.
