AMEX does not charge credit card interest on the Centurion cards as far as I know. They charge a hefty annual fee, and like the platinum and gold cards, you are expected to pay in full at the end of the month. Shouldn't be a problem though, since you get a Centurion card by spending something like $120,000 in one

Isn't that Jay in the sunglasses on the patio behind the car? He does look forlorn.

@clashtastic: I had somehow never seen that ad before now. Very good. I like the smartass fine print, "clearly a professional driver on a closed track". Maybe the Corvette ad should have had a similar disclaimer...

Family sedan...I suppose if I thought realistically it would be a Maxima. Since I don't I'm going to say a Jaguar Mk1.

It is absolutely terrible. I am an unapologetic (nostalgic) Mercedes fan, but this is not acceptable. It looks like cheapness warmed over with chintz from every angle. The interior, with the possible exception of the door panels, is almost laughably bad. It seriously looks like the entire thing is a joke from

They can fix those pinkies you know, we have the technology. I'm beginning to think there is some sort of secret fucked up pinky contest going on.

I would be amazed if any corporate jet was ever used to send mid-level or low-level engineers—or high-level engineers for that matter—out to repair an issue. They will send them coach. The corporate

@Eric Minoff: Though whomever is the Speaker of the House is, what, third in line for the Presidency? So there is a genuine security concern there.

I'll have the 6.9 of course.

It's just a new form of alternative fuel car. It runs on smog.

Also, are those lawnmower keys in the lock in the hatch?!

I can't imagine why they're stopping production. The fact that you can literally see through the panel gap between the hatch and the body is a clear indication of how well made they are.

Real estate agent: What kind of house are you looking for?

I am amazed at the efficiency with which she dispatched the door. At no point does she hesitate. It's as though she has been harboring a secret hatred of the door for many years and today she'd had enough.

I am also curious about the speed. If it was very high speed then it did quite well, but there is considerable intrusion of the steering column upward and the dash and floor have intruded considerably as well.
