So, the same old shit only with stop watches! What an innovation! Oh wait, MMORPGs had timed despawning bosses 15 years ago and even back then it was considered a cheap, lazy “mechanic/new content” addition. (-_-)

Destiny 1 was godawful for this, I have no idea what the fuck Bungie was thinking. Atheon was a bonus fight you got to do when you finally beat the raid boss “get six people together without any matchmaking”.

Oh my sweet summer child. Of course he’s going to have a rally. He’s not going there to help, he’s going there to be a big boy and sit in a boat, then host a rally because the ratings will be better if he does it in a disaster zone.

I love it. I’ve always supported drafting women and I’ve always hated douchebag legislators who take up time and resources with legislation they proposed just to make a point. I’m having my cake and eating it, too.

I feel like the GOP is always trying to “get” democrats as somehow not really being for women’s rights. This is one of those issues where I feel a lot of people think they will catch feminists being hypocrites. Sorry guys, but I’m not just a feminist for when it benefits me. Gender equality is gender equality is

Yep. “I banked on the idea that liberals were posturing hypocrites. Turns out that they actually were openly and honestly stating their own principles. Oh shit.”

Wow, it’s been 8 years since the original ME and I’m just now seeing this? Strange.

As a sociologist, you are very wrong. Cultural appropriation is a very real thing. You seem to misunderstand the very concept of it. It’s not people appreciating the culture and understanding it for what it is. It’s not people being invited into the culture or given gifts from people of that culture.

Cultural appropriation will continue to be an issue as long as people of their descent are mocked for being part of their culture and white people get a free pass. What do I mean by this? Indian women are consistently mocked for wearing bindis. White women at music festivals think it is cool while in the same breath

Not to mention an Egyptian having a Native American motiff skins, Zenyatta having Egyptian ones, Mei’s Inuit inspired skins (her being Chineses and not Inuit) and so forth. While I don’t think Blizzard means any harm and the skins do look really nifty they are mega cringy from a cultural standpoint.

Everything about Overwatch’s blatant cultural appropriation is just so cringey. Hanzo, for as sexy of a visual design it is on a base level, is actually quite lazily executed, particularly in the “Japanese” lines he utters in the game. Ryuu ga waga teki wo kurau, my ass.

No. I felt right at home as a lover of the first game.

Who gives a shit how much time or delay he gave Sony and the developer.

PR people aren’t the only people at a game studio... There are hundreds of talented artists and programmers slaving away at these games, working ridiculous hours, who are usually generally proud and excited about their work, so you’re ruining it for them as well.

Not only is it valuable news, it’s also pretty fucking inconsequential. “Oh, No Man’s Sky got pushed back. Big effing surprise, imagine a AAA video game getting pushed back... *sarcastic gasp* Thanks for the heads-up, Jason.” I said, as I went on with my fucking life.

It’s like 60 extra days, I just don’t get why it

How are video game stories classified as news? What constitutes a ‘scoop’? There are so few ‘famous people’ in the business that nothing much even matters to the average person. I suppose there is the business and money side, but most video games sites seldom report on those issues. Where does the journalism come in?

I generally disagree with this perception - I’m not saying that journalists should sit on stories, but I don’t think every ‘in-development’ IP should be spoiled just because of some notion that the public has a right to know.

Product managers and marketing managers work their asses off to ensure that new products are

wish I has known that. He had me fuming until I cheesed him with arrows, and I refrained from kicking him off the edge because I’d lost too much valuable treasures in the past doing that. (rrrrrrDjura)

20 archers? more like 3. It’s not about learning the area, it’s about having awareness and clearing them out first if you really have to insist on standing in the middle of the area with a sliver of health and a big target painted on your skull.

All swatters should be charged with attempted murder.
