Please get over with it. You want to get a good story, go outside and listen to your grandparents life stories!

Not unfair, but getting old. What's done is done, Bungie didn't think compelling narrative in Destiny was important... or something. It baffles me, but the rest of the game is fun.
It's a TF2 ripoff. Why are people losing their shit again?
Can someone explain to me why this game is exciting? It looks the same as Battleborn to me. Almost exactly identical.
It looks great, but I felt that those kid's parts were so fucking cheesy. The trailer was good, but it might as well have been any cartoon trailer, ever. Cheesy kids talking about the heroes in such a cliche way, (Not all children talk like that, Blizzard.) and the whole "That was... AWESOME!" thing just made me…
I'm not sure I understand to be honest. I'm personally very split on this because while I think the trailer was incredibly fun and beautiful, and I would love to know more about the characters and seeing them interact, at the end of the day I know this is just a multiplayer first person shooter arena game with no real…
I must be missing something I'm just not that excited for the game.
Wasn't that impressed with it. I don't think it has the same impact as their other IP's. It was well animated and all that, but it was just all mehhh. Didn't seem like a blizzard game honestly.
Btw, what you described is the man's fantasy of a man, not a woman's. Muscles on muscles on muscles is a male power fantasy, not a generalized woman's sexual fantasy, and video games developers gennnerallly aren't doing it to turn women on. I mean, how many other ways have we proven that they don't think women (or gay…
They're hypermasculinized rather than oversexualized. The men in video games and the women in video games are both for men. There's some great gaming journalism on that - how the macho men is the male fantasy as much as the sexualized women are. As in, they want to be that guy
It's identifying the difference between a power fantasy, and debasing an archetype purely for the gaze of predominately one gender.
You're an actual dinosaur, huh?
God forbid I don't like something eh folks? Jesus wept.
I don't think a spine is really stopping someone from wearing the outfit. Now if they said they were going to pose like that, then maybe your comment would of fit.
Oh, look! A cool, new IP with charming graphics and exciting gameplay that I won't be able to play whatsoever!
The hypocrisy in you asking myself to research confirmation bias whilst your first line tells me to go look for particular polls or threads is apparent, yes? From what I've seen, people aren't thrilled about it - some are thrilled I'm sure, I just haven't seen them yet.
And at no point did I suggest they did. Feel free to practice reading comprehension.
Why does it have to be kneerjerk reactions of rabid fanboys just because people don't like the look of something? I was in a Skype call with 5 friends at the time of announcement and none of us were excited by the game, because, well, it doesn't look that exciting to us.
Is that okay with you?
Naturally.
Except a quick look at Blizzard-centric forums would see largely the same response.
It would seem this is Blizzards take on Team Fortress 2
