I wouldn't call it garbage, trite is maybe a better word. Also incomplete, but that's to be expected. They aren't exactly treading any new ground here narratively. I don't really think they have to though. Not everything has to be a literary masterpiece. I don't have any problems with a simple story being attached to…

From the creators of Marathon and Pathways into Darkness, of course I expect an incredibly complicated story that is near-impossible to explain.

I don't think that people think shooting into a cave is MORE fun, just that it's better than doing Strikes/Crucible matches and earning marks that way.

If you do check out the Grimoire, it's clear that there's piles of backstory for all the factions.

What would you do, stare at your ship floating in orbit for 3 hours?

That's sort of like saying that driving is bullshit because you never know when some asshole is going to start dropping cinderblocks off an overpass.

Hopefully they also want time in federal prison... because guess what they're going to get.

Two of them did get picked up from what I recall. Think there are two left now.

I'm surprised no one did time over the bomb threat they did earlier. Unless I just didn't hear about them getting busted for that.

Yes, there is another. There are hundreds. This is how monster closets work. If we seriously do this song and dance for each one players decide is the arbitrary new 'loot cave', then we're gonna be at it for a while.

most games run out of content at 8-9 hours. most shooters have you repeating the same things over and over again after that initial time investment. I don't get what the big issue with Destiny is...

I find it truly stunning that it even lasted this long. A complete let-down of what they originally said it would be. To be fair though, I tried it years later and it did seem "better" but the direction of it was just very confusing— I never did understand what it was trying to achieve.

I can't say I'll miss it. It just never really had a point, did it? It was just a place to be harassed by strangers and spend real money on virtual clothes and spaces. I understand why Sony tried it, but it just never had an appeal to me.

I tried it like 3 times and each time I though I'd get the point of it. I never did

This is what ruins MMOs now. How many hours were spent designing a raid, and once one group "figures it out" it's just a matter of memorizing the walkthrough.

I really don't feel like being creative right now so I'll just say that you are an entitled prick and the reason we can't have nice things. If you want to play a game that will give all of us instant gratification I would recommend playing "in traffic".

theres destinylfg.com which works wonders

I disagree, you would have to play it to understand why it just doesn't work with randoms.

Absolutely is. But KS and the people getting the money don't care, they're getting money after all!

It's shit.
