Nobody is paying $800k to have an M4 with a body kit. They are paying for the ability to say you own a hand-built, 1-of-50 BMW and the first new 3.0 CSL since the 1970s. There are probably way more than 50 people in the world that wouldn’t blink at that opportunity.
That is a proper BMW all around.
I thought GTA 5 was joking with the car pricing schemes, but now I can see that they’re actually quite accurate.
$700k+ for what was normally a $100k car is about what I’d expect to see in the game, and now it’s the real deal!
Amazing? Nah I think the F82 M4s were the best looking Modern BMW. The M series handles the grille alot better than the normal ones however.
The current M4 grill is hideous, IMO, but I do actually like this one. Aesthetics are personal, and if you like the current M4, by all means that’s your prerogative. Myself, its bad enough I’d never own one. I hope this new grill comes to the LCI - if it does, this could be my next car.
And many of those drivers now think that Putin is a good guy thanks to right-wing media.
By contrast, all American pickups: “I am Putin. The left lane is Crimea.”
Nothing surprising that world events influence styles. Just look at all the 50's cars with design cues from jets and rockets or the Hummer H2 and H3 trying to offer military style with street car comfort that grew out of all the exposure the Humvee got starting in the Gulf War.
Have you been in a coma for the last decade?
Dumb question, because I haven’t dealt with carbon fiber wheels, but have only dealt with Carbon Fiber golf clubs....
I did see this video, but I actually started work on this story a few weeks ago when I saw Matt Moreman use it on his channel. Just good timing I guess.
Torqued to spec or cross-threaded, tight is tight.
Was the writer of this article watching the Tavarish video from a few days ago with the British dude who bought a wrecked 2022 Porsche GT3 and Tavarish had the same tool at his shop? Very weird this pops up a few days after that video appeared
For $5k this thing better hit 443.00000000 ft lb exactly.
Yeah, sounds hokey - but their tooling is pretty bad-ass...
I work in the power generation industry, and our crews use their tools a lot for turbine bolting, due to the ridiculous torque values.
A $5,000 tool with a name fit for Harbor Freight. Hytorc? Really?
Viper ACR had HUGE down force. Everyone makes a big deal about the new 911 GT3 RS, the ACR was making that down force awhile ago.
Small reminder to take this all with somewhere between a pinch and a bucket of salt. Everyone cheats at ring times. Also not everyone runs the ring for times.
