808s and Heartbreak is great. I personally think it's one of the best uses of auto-tune in the music industry to date and your popular hip-hop/r&b station would not be the same without the album's influence. I'd say Drake and every rapper out there flowing like him right now owe their entire careers to 808s and

The joke is on you, my friend.

I want to say that this new format is great and really encourages some creative journalism, something that there is definitely not enough of in video gaming press. It's just too bad I have to trudge through this crap Gawker design to enjoy it. #freekotaku

Much better than the Gizmodo review. What biased garbage.

As a lifelong video gamer, this trend in mobile gaming makes me really sad. Its clear that passion and innovation are mere afterthoughts (if thoughts at all) in the dollar-sign-filled eyes of industry executives who will always bank on Angry Birds 17 or God of War Clone 5 than any original property.

Now playing

Denying sampling as an art is truly ignorant. Though few records nowadays use samples creatively, some of the greatest hip-hop tracks from the golden age would be pretty hard for a naysayer to recreate.

The fact that it's gotten to this point shows that it's hardly "asking." Cool, playing Half-Life 2 is great. Half-Life 2 is one of the most influential games of all time. I don't think anyone is forgetting about Half-Life, though, especially the people who created it. When Valve wants to reveal information on a sequel

THQ killed themselves. Expect to see other companies operating like THQ (spending too much money going after markets and trends that will cease to exist in 5 years) to go under as well. The sad part is these executives and board members will walk off with millions while fucking over everyone under them. But things

Video gamers are so self-entitled. Does Valve owe you information on Half-Life 3?

I was reappropriating your quote for the 5th generation when Nintendo was supposed to go under because cartridges were too expensive.

"And now they're doing terribly because they haven't adapted to an optical storage-rich environment"

Man, this Nintendo company does pretty damn well for doing terrible all the time!

That's ridiculous. There is no increased server cost, as the original buyer has just been replaced. This would only be true if copies of games were being played online, which is an easy ban since the online services can quickly detect whether your firmware is genuine or not.

At least it doesn't come out every year

They can call it whatever they want.

>(Also, what the hell did he do to that Daft Punk song?)

Grr....me hate big giant asshole. Me want hurt Kanye!

You know him?

Sure sounds like it. I read so much bitter shit on this website I sometimes wonder if the angst rubs off on me.

Why does someone have to be on drugs or sleep deprived to think about making positive changes to the world?
