I like that way you think Paul. IMO this is the best season so far. Putting on a uniform protects you from nothing. It is the person that wears the uniform that matters. There is corruption everywhere, however, if you think that always being left or right is the answer, then you will sometimes fall short of the mark.

The best of the best has never been what the military has sought out. The greatest generation of people who fought in WWII weren’t considered the best of the best either, however, they answered the call when it was their turn.

More than likely its because the recruiters were not putting in the work. I can only speak from my experience, but I know that when I worked in the same building as the Army recruiters, they really just waited for people to walk through the door and ask to join.

So my question to you is simply this.

You have the right idea. The upscale for military personal across the board can be done in a controlled manner. However, they need to keep the standards set forth. Honestly, I think that the standards have came down to far lately as it is.
