Hader is a good choice, but I think Ben Schwartz has been actively campaigning for it for a while.

If Misbehavin’ didn’t get nominated for original song in the first season the show will never get recognized, unfortunately.

This was the nomination swan song, and only for the last batch of episodes. Rhea and Bob got in, and there really wasn’t enough of Banks or Giancarlo to make a a dent in a stacked Supporting Actor field this year.  I am shocked Cranston missed out on Guest Actor for Henry and Sam in TLoU, though.  Not that it is going

The last real fight I had with my sister was like a decade ago and because I was pointing out that one of these shows was obviously fake and scripted because the actors were bad and it was poorly written. I proceeded to point out every single story beat that was going to happen long before it did. No idea why she got q

Take a breath and read the post again. They are specifically refuting the claim in the AV Club article that the decision did not impact Nolan. It’s pretty obvious what their point is. They are not making any claims about it being good or bad.

Oppenheimer is rated R, which will also hurt it’s box office.

Nothing about the murder investigation has made any sense in a practical or reasonable way when it comes to building a murder case.

Lottie is from money.  It was her dad that chartered the plane that crashed.

I think Misty’s plan worked and it just looked like a fentanyl OD.

I agree with this. The present day story this season is wildly disjointed and filled with plot holes (especially with the murder investigation), but the actors are keeping it afloat.

Yeah, my understanding is that the tax breaks were more directly related to the unfinished projects that won’t get finished or released (Scoob 2, Batgirl). I’m sure there are some tax benefits to this, but not to the same level as those projects. This is more about avoiding residuals and other associated costs.

Adam and Mom were totally superfluous in the movie, but anything that gives me more golden Elizabeth Debicki is ok in my book.

Exactly.  This has been driving me crazy all fucking season, and is terrible, terrible writing.

Dark Tai is dragging the whole season down for me.

Yeah. The therapist was saying some radically stupid shit to a woman with decades of diagnosis behind her. “What do you think your visions are telling you?” Get the fuck out of here.

Van's "You ate her face" was such a weird out of place line.

Kevyn's partner saying that Callie confirmed that Shauna was having an affair because she told him while she was also lying about going to Rutgers is real fucking shoddy detective work.

Critically, perhaps, but in terms of a cultural discussion and zeitgeist, and most importantly viewership it did not do that great, especially when compared to Mando. They had to drop the opening three episodes on Hulu to get people even remotely interested.

Isn’t it just supposed to be a Limited Series, anyway?

1 million players is not an outlier.
