It’s good to really good, but it definitely isn’t capital G great.

The story beats were good, but the actual execution of the story was a big whiff.

Yeah, it’s not good as a whole. The two Lovecraft episodes in particularly being flat out bad.  That’s 1/4 of the season.

I mean, except they announced forever ago that Santaolalla was doing the music for the show.

That was actually the GoT showrunners.  HBO wanted to give them 5 more seasons or so and they said “Nah, two is good.”

You are aware that word “everyone” includes all the interested parties, including Nintendo?  You raging moron.

Yup. Sure is a lot of taking everyone at their word here. And, as you pointed out, silence isn’t agreement. Thinking that you might get a good thing going, does not mean that you have a good thing going. My guess is VGBC pulled the plug on 2022 in a fit of anger (justified or not), not realizing that it didn’t have to

You go SS!

One of my favorite scenes in all of Justified is when Mags smashes Coover’s hand with a hammer, and he is just crying begging for “mama’s” forgiveness.  He was terrific

This fucking sucks.  He was always a bright spot in anything he showed up in.

Just off the top of my head, he’s the dragon Paarthunax in Skyrim.

Well, the comment was specifically about the first trailer which doesn’t have any Peach or Luigi lines at all.

This show was definitely too far into production for LotR to have any effect on the series.

Expanse has some of the best most realistic production design of any sci-fi series to ever exist, and the factions are pretty clearly drawn when they are supposed to be, just like GoT.  You just have to pay attention.

I rewatched it this year. The Pilot is pretty shaky, and it takes a couple of episodes to find its feet, but it has aged pretty well.

That was the 80s Show, with future Sunny star Glenn Howerton!

He gave it to Vel to give back to Luthen.

The voices were both Henson shop regulars at the very least.  Maybe the suits and performers, too.

I had to choose between Fabelmans and Bones and All. Hopefully Fabelmans is still in my local theater this weekend.
