If removing a show you paid $100 million for is “silencing” someone, then we ALL are owed $100 million contracts and talk shows.

You couldn’t you know... post just one picture of the cups in question?
if it were once then maybe, but its his talk show. many times with many different guests he slammed that ship into the rocky shoals of "organically" saying it. he was the one piloting, its his fault that it kept coming up.
I’m going to take a photo of one of these rare cups and sell it as an NFT. That’ll be $10,000 please
Just off the top of my head...
They get mad that Starbucks exists (it’s overpriced, it tastes burnt, etc). They get mad that Starbucks cups don’t say Merry Christmas year-round. They get mad if young people drink that coffee, but are also inconsolable that it takes 3 whole minutes to get THEIR coffee because young people don’t want to work…
No. The reason there were so many clips of him doing it is that every time someone would get in trouble for saying it in that meta way, he would make a point of saying the n-word with a hard r on his show to basically say that usage is fine. He did it as recently as 2018. So when he says it was “years ago”, that…
However, Ek also made it clear that “silencing” Rogan was not an option and that “in order to achieve our goal of becoming the global audio platform, these kinds of disputes will be inevitable.”
Pretty sure conservatives are going to be mad about this for some reason.
I use Turo when I want something with extremely high mileage limits. I took a trip out west recently, rented a Range Rover that had a 700 mile per day limit, and it was perfect. When you want something nice with huge mileage limits Turo is basically the only way without paying an insane amount.
I think a lot of people get in to it after buying a new car, thinking they’ll make up the car payment + some profit, and then sell it in a couple years. Obviously being in good condition is key to this strategy.
Im going to put on my full thinking hat here for a second
Ok, I’m a white dude, and I’ll admit a fairly privileged one. Even so, I can’t wrap my head around how any music group would think 1. That this was ok and 2. How the optics of this are anything less than horrible. Yeah, Lady Antebellum was a terrible name to start with, but once you find out Lady A is already taken,…
I haven’t been in any vehicle with any kind of driver assist akin to what’s talked about here or in Teslas, etc. but I have to think that, done correctly, with your unfettered focus on what the car’s systems are doing, at the ready to take over at any moment, would be more tiring/numbing than actually doing the…
fair point, but nobody ever ran into a car parked on a highway shoulder because of patent misinformation. At least, I don’t think they have?

The new recruits here lately have been confusing stunning engineering with the rich people who own them, and that their job should be to cover the vehicle first. Almost everyone who reads Jalopnik already thinks Bezos is a scumbag, piling on is just annoying. Spanfeller’s plan for G/O seems to be to turn it into a…
Spare us, dude. Bleeding hearts for the suffering mega-yacht industry?
I mean you can make fun of the guy for having a “toy” like this but you know what? This project has employed hundreds of people in the hard hit marine sector and will continue to employee lots of people for the substantial on-going maintenance that will be required. Captains, engineers, all the other crew, the ports…
The lawsuit is a solid account of the long history of racial discrimination in the NFL and the progress that has and hasn’t been made. There will be a lot of comments made on it by people who have not read it, but it should really be read in its entirety first.
