1935 Auburn 851 Phaeton with the supercharged straight 8. Besides the manual choke, it was as easy to drive any 1960's 3 speed American car. Unbelievably smooth and quiet. The next oldest one was this 1941 Cadillac drop-top in the back.

This most Hooptie collection ever. Even has a Buick Deuce a quarter (My Hooptie)
Best: 996 Porsche 911 (base manual) : I also drove the new 991 and it felt too big and heavy. The 996 felt light and precise, yet useable on a daily basis. What about the IMS bearing?
Having owned a 2003 Tacoma and a 2016 F-150 I can say that the EPA numbers arn’t always accurate. My Tacoma was supposed to average 17 but really got 18 and my F-150 is supposed to get 19 but really gets 15.7. Heavier trucks with more frontal surface area are going to get worse has milage in the real world.
They should bring back the Powerglide. 2 speeds is all you need with 640 ft-lb of torque.
I have 200,000 miles on my 3.4 liter Tacoma that says otherwise. Never had any problem with the engine whatsoever, just normal maintenance. And I average 20 mpg on the highway (double cab, 4x4)
Did he mention if it was 2wd or 4wd? Just curious.
1963 Corvette Coupe (split window) because it’s beautiful enough to stare at all day but having driven one at my shop, it was really quite difficult to drive. By my God is it beautiful.
We had the Fast N Loud Trans Am in our shop. The Pittsburgh couple that won it just wanted to sell it for cash. The car was a mess when we got it. It still had plenty of rust, mechanical problems, brake’s that wern’t put on correctly. Discovery Channel actually sent us the money to put the car back together correctly.
Don’t forget the phaeton (2 door convertible without side windows) aka Willys Jeepster
Taillights look EXACTLY like the Audi Prologue concept.
F Body cars are actually pretty competent off road with an LSD and lot's of torque.
It was old even when it was new.
Because the Chicken Tax would mean a 50% markup. Nobody would be able to afford it. That's why the Tacoma and Frontier are made here and not imported.
Honorable mention: Chevy SSR. It's like an expensive El Camino out of the early 2000's.
Dakota convertable?
Dodge Dakota convertable anyone?
