Why are all these headlines designed to induce outrage? I get enough outrage from the political news, I really don’t need it on Jalopnik too.

Hold on... They used to offer the twin turbo 4.0 V8 in the regular A8L. When did they stop?
Does anyone else think those big 20' 5 spoke wheels were stolen off a Camaro?
Do you mind if I ask how much all that was in parts? I’m thinking about buying a new ND and I don’t want the price jump to a Club, but also want the LSD for autocross.
I had an NB that was a nightmare. What looked like a clean rust free 70K mile car ended up costing me $3,000 in parts in just one year. Every time I drove it something broke. But the guy I bought it from was hiding many issues, I can’t blame the car for being mistreated.
Remember the FJ Cruiser? They tried that and gave up on it.
No you fucking don’t. I’ve driven 2 syncro Dokas and they were both trash. Transmissions were made from wet cardboard and good luck finding someone to properly rebuild one.
You have to drive one to understand it. Felt the same way before I drove a few. Now I can see why they cost so much more than a Corvette.
Streetside is a bunch of crooks. I’ve had two customer cars come from therm. One, a 1970 Toyota FJ40, and a ‘55 Chevy wagon. The Toyota was supposed to be running and driving, near show quality vehicle but was delivered without a clutch (yes really) among other things. The owner had to restore the entire drivetrain…
My mom’s first new car out of college was a 1985 Toyota Corolla coupe (AE85) SR5 with the 5 speed and sunroof. They had the car up until I was 6, sold it at 100,000 miles in impeccable condition. God I would do anything to track that car down. They replaced it with a 2000 Nissan Quest that ended up being my first car.…
You beat me to it, the design makes it look FWD, but nope, the Impulse was RWD
I have a friend with a 2017 GTI. Compared to my Mazda 6 it’s a much stiffer ride. He’s actually trading it in because he has back problems and it’s too hard to get in and out of plus the rough ride hurts his delicate spine.
Rides too rough to be a comfortable daily driver, not sporty enough to be a good sports car. It’s just in it’s own little space. But probably not the best option for 300-400 miles a week.
I have a ‘16 that I love, but the new ones are so much more refined. The only problem is no manual with the turbo :(
