Pretty sure that was the point? Because the whole article is a weird joke?

Oh my god, you’re amazing. To make sure I’m clear: not only am I at fault for reading a public comment posted on the internet, I’m also the sanctimonious one even though you’re the one telling “Mrs Clinton” (it’s Secretary Clinton, by the way) that she doesn’t “deserve your vote”? Sure sure, makes sense.

Man, I really love these long comment diatribes directed at someone who will never, ever read them. Have you rehearsed this speech in your head and imagined delivering it to a chastened Hillary? Your sanctimony is palpable.

Wasn’t Obama declared the presumptive nominee before the convention in ‘08 with an even narrower margin than this one? I don't think she's doing anything unprecedented

This is all I've got.

It sounds like your weird ex is like my weird ex! I think it’s their way of “checking in” to make sure we have to think about them again? Grosses me out.

Not 20 minutes ago, my ex scrolled back to January 2014 on my Instagram and liked a picture of a notebook page that includes half of a photo he was in. Is there a pre-social media equivalent to this kind of fuckery?

What the what. I had no idea Jennifer Knapp came out - good for her! she was on the short list of Focus on the Family-approved list of female Christian recording artists I was permitted to listen to as a tween (I can’t wait to tell my mother and watch her think about it)

No worries! Eventually we all get Kinja’d (side note - I’ve been thinking a lot about the point you raised re: alcoholism and how we talk about people who are dealing or not dealing with it, so thank you for that!)

Dang, dude, if you re-read you’ll find I didn’t call him *shit* (I get that this is a personal issue for you, but check the usernames)

Being constantly drunk makes you less reliable from the standpoint of memory and clarity, pretty sure that’s all OP was trying to say. That’s a far cry from dismissing “anyone with mental health/addiction issues”

I thought I was just going crazy - it’s wrong in the headline, too! No rock fans (or copy editors) on the night staff, I guess.

CUTTING HER HAIR WHILE SHE’S SLEEPING? Jen:

Yes! It’s like people who are constantly alluding to their “haters,” as though they’re a good/normal thing??? Obviously sometimes people will hate you for no reason, but if you are consistently amassing enemies just by being yourself, you should consider that yourself might be terrible.

I just don’t get it. Is the ROI from an organic influencer post really that much higher than if you just put that $5k toward Facebook ads? Is it worth the shit you have to put up with?

Ugh, this is why I fucking hate “influencer marketing,” it is 99.9% garbage.

Do you really hate to say it, though? Because it sounds like you’re not super conflicted about the validity of anonymous death threats as tools of the revolution

You’re conflating thoughts with actions. Thoughts and feelings may just happen, but threatening someone’s life and family is not an involuntary reflex, it's a decision that was 100% within their control. No one is holding anyone “responsible” (weird use of quotes btw) for thought crimes here, just for the stupid

Eh, except one of those is linked to core values and one is not. People vote for candidates who share their worldview - if the candidate who appeals to you (not you) is saying and doing things that also appeal to neo nazis, you are associating yourself with them (the candidate AND the neo nazis) and what they stand

You’d classify “we know where you live and where your kids go to school” as a prank call?
