That is GOLD.

IT'S LIKE PUTTING YOUR WHOLE MOUTH RIGHT IN THE DIP

I was definitely absentmindedly biting my thumbnail when I scrolled past this headline. Oops.

Maybe save your rage for the d-bags who piled on the OP claiming that NO MAN EVER IN THE WORLD would know what that word means, not just white men?

Glad you stopped by to let us all know that it couldn't be offensive because you've said it (?)

Agreed! Morello I did feel sorry for (not in a "you shouldn't be in jail" kind of way, but dang, her life did suck in addition to her obvious mental problems.) But the other 3 you mentioned are not at all sympathetic, especially fucking Vee. Daaaamn now I need to watch season 2 all over again.

Absolutely! I think that article had the original thread where people were talking about how weird it is that secret (or not-so-secret) racists usually just assume that they/Iggy Azalea are "just sayin'" what everyone else was thinking! (except, no, none of us were thinking that)

I don't feel like OITNB does that at all. If anything, Piper's progression from "poor me I'm a victim" to "I fucked up and I'm the reason why I'm in here" is one of her more interesting developments. We also see Rosa, who robbed banks for the thrill (not a victim), and I don't think the show ever tries to imply that

I feel like we have to mention this on every article, BUT: can we once, just one time, not immediately make something about men? If you see an article about a very serious blow in a long line of aggression against women's reproductive rights and your FIRST reaction is, "MEN HAVE PROBLEMS, TOO," then I think you should

That is, as I understand the situation, incorrect. While Hobby Lobby maintains that they only object to 1 kind of contraception (putting aside the fact that the morning after pill does not cause abortion), the Supreme Court decision allows all closely-held private companies to exclude birth control coverage of any

well then it looks like everyone has been wasting their time, because none of those 20 birth control options causes abortion!

I mean, I may have said something a little insensitive every now and then, but I'd venture a guess that most normal adult humans haven't said (let alone tweeted) anything like that racist garbage. This is an argument I've seen around the internet a lot, though, like racist confirmation bias. "DON'T PRETEND YOU'VE

Got any advice for the married women who want to have sex with their spouse but are not financially, emotionally or physically ready to have a baby? Clap their legs shut? How about the women who use birth control to control PCOS, endometriosis, and painful periods or to prevent ovarian cysts? Shall we all just clap

I hope none of your fast women work at Hobby Lobby.

Reverse racism isn't a thing.

Wait, that's interesting! I always thought that the implant and IUD prevented pregnancy in similar ways (thickening lining of the uterus making implantation impossible). Is it because the implant prevents eggs from being released and the IUD messes with the precious sperms? I just don't get these people.

The ACA is definitely the reason I was able to afford the implant — no copay for either my consultation appt or the insertion appointment, and now I don't have to worry about it for 3 years. Best case scenario for anyone who has employer coverage (and doesn't work at Hobby Lobby)

Dang! That makes me even happier about this whole thing.

I got the arm implant too — is yours Nexplanon? I've only had it since May, and I'm a little annoyed by the amount of spotting so far. Good to hear that it has totally gone away for you, keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be that lucky

I have the Nexplanon implant! I was originally planning on an IUD, but this just seemed like an easier insertion for identical efficacy. I just got it in May and so far it has made my period go a little haywire (like, 3 periods in 6 weeks? UGH) but they have been much lighter and shorter than my actual period, which
