As most of you know, I took a role in September as a road adjuster or “roadie” as we call them. I went to a house fire this morning and the first thing I saw was an old Datsun. My first words to the insured were “wow! Nice Datsun!” I did my thing relating to the fire and then we hung out for about 10-15 minutes around…
I recently switched from the municipal community center to a private gym. I’m not really a big fitness guy, but I work out to stave off death and fit my recaros. I wasn’t a big fan of this new gym until I found out they had a gym dog.
To what extent do you decorate your home with automotive themed material? Yard?, Bedroom?, Office? Everywhere? I’m limited to one room in the basement where our TV lives. Nobody really goes in there but me, my friends and anyone we have over for movie nights. No car themed decorations are allowed in any other rooms…
I present to you my desired upgrades for this summer, including, finally, the LSD.
Silver with black accents and wheels
Gopro attachments, detailing sprays, cloths of every type, Baja covers and so much more! What’s everyone doing on Family Day/President's Day Eve?
Would anyone be interested in attending the Vancouver Autoshow with me again? March 19th to 24th. Fintail and I went last year.
Post the first car you fell in love with. The absolute first car I can remember thinking “I like this” was an old Jaguar XJ that would often be parked on my walk to and from elementary school. This would have been around 2000-2005. Sometimes I would dream of one day owning it.
There’s my one true love. And hey, my wife’s in this picture too!
I especially miss spotless cars
Everything is organized for Portland! I think I’ve picked out our route down (it’s a little over 5 hours via I-5, but I want to take the scenic route down). We are going to be in town for the March 9th & 10th, heading back home on the 11th.
I’ve made a conditional (on actually seeing, driving, inspecting the damn thing) offer of $8000CDN/$6000USD for the Taco. I am obviously the office craigslist scumbag, but hey. If they can’t unload it and/or are willing to give me a discount to get rid of it.... win!
The Kia performed admirably today, but I had to take out the ST to play. Short jaunt to a cafe for an americano, quick stroll and home. Put the new GoPro on the car for the first time, posted a GIF of what it looks like.
How do most of you people deal with this as a regular occurrence? I thought about taking the ST out and testing the lights, but I’m running fairly bald old all seasons until spring’s tire replacement, so decided against it.
Hey Seattle, you took our snow.
1991 Idaho commercial plate. Never seen anything like this before. All the lines are raised (stamped in) no script or anything other than the 91 tag
I hate winter for the fact that the driving is so meh. I wanna go fast and also, use my new toys.
I really, really liked the Nevada plates on WrongWheelDrive’s rented Miata when we met a while back. I also really like the BC Parks plates. Kinda thinking of getting one for the ST (what do you think?) Anyway, show me the best North America has to offer!
