I love my Wrangler but after 5 jeeps, a new wrangler was the nicest, quietest and easiest to drive of the lot. I knew what I was getting.

I had a rental Expedition with the 3.5 Ecoboost and 10 speed auto. Checking out the boost gauge and transmission shift points, the thing wouldn’t even make full boost outside of Sport mode! In regular mode, it felt like a mid-2000's Expedition. In Sport it was a 6,000 lbs missile, scaring the shit out my co-workers…

100% this. I’ve spent most of my life thinking I wanted a Wrangler one day. I finally rented a new JL on vacation and put that idea to bed after the first 24 hours.

Every time we passed a 4door Wrangler my wife would comment on how cool they looked. Then we went on vacation and rented one, it took half a day for her to realize she does NOT want a Wrangler.

But imagine how much sleeker the truck is with that $2k wax job....
