Wow, you really went through and just straight-up deleted most of the comments, huh? I note that the ones you left aren’t exactly positive… best you could find was a small handful of neutral ones I guess? Well, fuck you Jalopnik. Fuck you very much. Next time just don’t leave comments active on your stupid fucking

What we got here is an advertorial.  Even the pull quotes are clearly marketing language.  First I’ve seen here and pretty unfortunate.

Wow. Deleting the majority of reader comments on a “Jalopnik” article doesn’t look good at all. Bad optics on this one.

For anyone who missed it, there was about 80 comments on this post earlier today. There was 12 when I posted the above comment, then only 4 a couple minutes later.

Holy fuck did y’all delete all the negative comments on this? Very bold to fuck with your own readers like that.

Historically the odometer has been one way to assess the overall condition of the car and engine. Generally speaking, the higher the mileage the more wear on the engine and less life you have left in the car overall. The price of the car follows appropriately.

Dude, if you need a reference point to find this atrocity fugly AF, I am afraid you are lost to the dark side. Also, I hate SUVs in general, so no recommendations here. But generally speaking, of the big brands, Volvo and Mazda make the most beautiful car designs out there at the moment.

When I want to tow I get serious, that’s why I’ve got a Nikola all lined up.

They’re screwed. They needed to be first to market to stand a chance. Ford is on the way, GM is right behind them, and Tesla is supposed to sell something they think is a truck. Even the GMC Hummer will hit the road soon. Abort this cash sink before it swallows even more.

The white space is a pop-down video ad that hasn’t loaded. Whether that’s from the site being broken or because of AdBlock not killing it correctly, IDK.

BYD is one to watch, they make “normal” (not 50-100k luxury) EVs in the 20-30k price range.

Honestly I don’t think any objective investor could in their right mind pony up the cash for lords town. Lets look at the Endurance

Lovably Complex Looks

Yup. Two big things have broken in the last few days. I’m getting the same big white space at the top of the page, and having the same problem finding replies to my comments. It’s barely worth dealing with anymore. This place just gets gradually worse and worse over time.

There’s something about making smaller SUVs that is like breeding smaller horses. The proportions just move from elegant to chonky.  All the manufacturer’s try to hide the chonk with distractions of gee-gaws and angles and the like, but the fact is that smaller SUVs are just naturally out of proportion.

You are 100% correct here.  This comment section is so bad it’s like they are trying to screw it up!  If that is the case then congrats to Gawker!

If this keeps up, I may just stop and actually get some work done.......

If you don’t have to manually search for every reply in the 400+ comment Maverick article, what even is the point?

Dear Jalopnik and G/O Media in general,

It’s ugly
