Yeah, I haven’t heard much bad bout them, other than some overheating (Death by Dex-Cool?) but I just don’t see them around. Maybe they all got parked at the nursing home when their owners got parked their as well....

Sub 5-liter V8s aren’t generally terrible on fuel. Panthers and Northstar V8s seemed to easily get mid-20s on the highway (on that note... I’m not sure I can remember the last time I saw a running Northstar Caddy...)
WUT???
Come to Oregon. Some hours of the day they outnumber regular semis.
The Outback’s interior isn’t exactly head-turning either. Sure, it’s more stylish, but less functional and feels far less durable. The Flex is by no means slow. The base motor does 0-60 in about 8 seconds, and the EcoBoost does it under 6. But for sure, it’s no fuel miser in town, but it probably weighs as much as…
Flex still winds against the Outback. The chassis just feels more solid, and everything about it is full sized. It’s a wee too big for me do DD, but was one of my favorite company cars.

But what is that in bushels?!?
You should try a ride-along some time. In many areas, much of their time is spent responding to domestic violence incidents. One very good reason to do traffic control isn’t actually for traffic control... It’s so they are strategically located near areas of historic need.
Freight trains have a single skinny brake shoe acting directly on each wheel. Passenger trains have have inboard disc brakes with ABS. Also, freight trains brakes are relay valve actuated, so it can take may seconds for all the brakes to activate. Passenger rail has electronic brake valves, so they work in unison.
Yup. I bought 3 of them. It’s a great motor! Only hampered by the 6F15 transmission. But it’s great with the 6MT.
Yup. To get a full rollover structure you have to go with a Prevost conversion in a class A, or “downgrade” to a high-end Class-C (which also gains you an actual cab, airbags etc).
The newer (possibly all of them since the round-hood models stopped being made) diesel package cars are from Freightliner Custom Chassis, which is a Daimler subsidiary.
Nope! Fiesta #2 got rear ended. Hard. Like 45 MPH hard by a Mitsubishi. The Focus ST was a total and complete impulse buy, and spends most of the time parked. Test driving it was just too much fun. No regrets though:)
I bought 2 Fiestas! Turbos even! Then a Focus 1.0 then a Focus ST. All in the same year.
Don’t forget about Chevy’s “man-step” mocking commercials. I’m pretty sure they sold more F150s with that feature than Ford’s own marketing.
Tonya would...
Sport was the only trim with the 3.5L EcoBoost until the Platinum came out. Also the spring rates are stiffer (shared with the police package), and for the first couple years, the Sport had bigger brakes until eventually all trims gained the bigger brakes. Other trim levels wearing the EcoBoost badge got the 2.0L…
