There is only transfer case gear reduction when you shift into 4-low. 4-hi is still 1-1.
I would see no reason why not. The powertrain is very solid, as is the chassis.
Huh? That’s a AWD drive model shown. One that could send 100% torque to either end. Those are pretty decent in bad weather, especially the long body which has better weight distribution.

No, this can happen to any solid-front axle with worn bushings. It’s only more often with Fords an Jeeps because you can easily lift them with just taller coils, but they makes the problem much worse.

Also, go a a dealer that does performance mods. Mine installs them from Ford or anybody else, including adding forced induction. I’ve never heard of anybody have a warranty issue with them.
And air-to-air just won’t fit, without swapping to the ‘08+ front clip first.

It is kinda hard in the vans, because they don’t have an intercooler, so as soon as you tune it, EGTs shoot sky high. The big issue with maintenance is doing anything under the valve covers is super cumbersome in the vans, and with the 7.3L being at last 15 years old at this point, stuff like o-rings, glow plugs,…
Yeah, E350s had either the V10 or diesel option. The V10 has a hefty price premium now in the used market, since the 7.3Ls are getting up there in age and the 6.0 diesel is a POS.
The V10 makes 80 more hp than the 7.3L, the same torque, and weighs 500 pounds less. Also maintenance is far less needy on the V10.
