His point is 0W-20 isn’t available as a low-cost brand. I’ve never seen it anyways.

They work like curb feelers. They aren’t made to stop damage. They’re there make you know you’re about damage something.
Ooops. My comment wasn’t very clear at all. I was referring to your aging Focus comment. The 2015+ Focus is substantial improvement, even though visually its not much different. And yes, I fully agree with your assessment re GMs small cars. And especially their RS trim....
I think the issue is it won’t actually go into park if you shut it off before the park pawl is engaged. Turning off the car within 1 second of placing it in park isn’t all that unusual.
Even though the ‘15 refresh looked pretty mild, it fixed my complaints (mainly the Dracula teeth front grill and sloppy hood gap) about the ‘12-’14 models, and dash materials seem a lot nicer.
A Fiesta will not likely fit most people’s life situations for very long
At least shrapnel to the jugular is probably a quick way to go....
Unless you have an open diff and one wheel is on ice. Or mud. Or wet leaves. I do avoid using my parking brake when it’s freezing (because it sucks when it freezes on) but I’ve had my car slide away more than once without it, while I was still in it luckily.
The fiesta 1.0 manual says towing is allowed (but not the ST) while the focus manual recommends not towing. The 2.0 is also in the Edge Btw.
Read the owners manual. We own 2 1.0s a 2.0 and a 3.5L EcoBoost. They all say the same thing.
When towing only.
That’s probably not a bad thing, if it has Limited Slip. Does it? The last Si did, and a lot of folks burned up their diffs running the spare, because only a donut spare fit in the tire well. And not just skinny. It was small too. Honda and AAA both sent out advisories to never put the spare up front. A front-flat…
FYI - She may not just be lactose intolerant, and could be a casein protein reaction. And to compound that difficulty, many “dairy-free” foods still contain sodium caseinate.
You don’t have to buy a Camry to buy a car that doesn’t fail on 100% of journalists. I’d venture to guess most fun-to-drive cars generally get you home just fine.
Well, in his defense, the most newsworthy thing about our “high-speed” rail this week is the derailment in an Amtrak Cascades that was speeding beyond its 40 MPH speed limit.
Holy hell you should see the scene that unfolds when a Tesla driver finds a Leaf in the only designated EV space (it wasn’t even a charging station, just a close parking spot).
I’m sure they’re aware of it now. I strongly suspect Elon is a Jalopnik regular.
This! Starting with the ‘15s interior quality went way up, its fun to drive, still hauls dogs. Won’t cause repair anxiety when the warranty runs out like a BMW or Audi would.
Electric cars will increase net demand, but they usually do not increase peak demand, which is what power grids have to be designed around. EVs can even mitigate peak demand shortages by discharging into the grid, and only charging during off-peak times. At the same time, distributed generation (i.e. roof top solar…
I’m not convinced the Toyota floor mat case was fair to Toyota. At least, not as I remember it. Weren’t people double-stacking mats, or using aftermarket products?
