Yeah, not the 2.0 turbo, but the 1.6L still has a little more HP, lots more torque, and a way flatter torque curve. Definitely the way to go. Just a bummer they won’t stuff it in the long wheelbase.

Sound Transit (Seattle) buses flash an extra set of inboard amber hazards during regen.
EcoBoost is optional, but only on the short wheelbase version.
Definitely some issues with grey market and knock off parts. I’ve also had parts substituted with lower quality stuff for my RV. And warranty issues with large items is a huge PITA with Amazon (“just take it all apart in put in back in the box it came in, and we’ll pick it up”)
There’s a couple shops in San Diego still installing new TTB conversions. One is Agile Offroad.
120v charging is for folks who can plug in at night, and don’t want the expense of 240-volt charger. For most commuters who live a single-family dwelling, this probably works just fine. 20 miles is probably sufficient for the average commuter, and even if not, it drives like a regular hybrid the rest of the time.
Some cars will even drop valve seats if its sucked through the manifold using the vacuum lines. The cooling effect of liquid solvents on hot parts makes them shrink enough to fall out. Ford even has a TSB for the 2.0 Zetec, specific to Sea Foam (other cleaners not mentioned)
Going faster does help if the adjuster is sticky or rusted.
But Ford sells every one. You won’t find a new 2012 econoline on the lot. The new Transit cutaway is why the sprinter cutaways won’t sell for MSRP anymore.
The new Malibu is a fine tourer, but sporty or engaging it is not.
The halogens on the fiesta are actually excellent though. Batter than many HIDs. Bright, even pattern with a sharp cutoff.
I was only half joking. Diesels do seem to have achieved luxury feature status in pickups, and many are bought with zero intention of ever towing or hauling. Buyers may compare fuel savings to the large gas motor offerings they think they need, when in reality the savings are usually trivial compared to the base gas…
Inexpensively? That was his qualifier. Of course, truck buyers seam to have no problem paying thousands extra for heated butt massagers and animated OLED thouch-screens....
Ford-Panther platform 4.6L. It doesn’t make enough power to break or ever wear out.
The Ford P2 platform (2007-2014) F150 was developed together with the T1 platform (Expedition). From the B-pillars forward, they are nearly the same. Interior components have diverged separately as well. The 2018 Expedition is expected to finally get the updates from the current F150. Basically, the Expy is mostly the…
A 4-door short wheel-base F150-based SUV is the Expedition. As the article mentions, there’s little market for a 2-door SUV. They hardly sell 2-door pickups anymore, at least retail (fleets still love them).
Yeah, I’d say this pretty well defines the new Camry!
Same applies to the Camry, but taking it home and showing it to the neightbors....?!?!
Or even the 2.5L.
