I read this initially as the dog being terminally ill, and that she stole Thor to put an end to his suffering. I thought it was awful but sort of understandable in a weird way.

When I realized it was the neighbour himself that was terminally ill- and not the dog- I felt my whole body go white-hot with rage. I

I'm not surprised that pirating has been good for GoT and HBO in general. I downloaded the first season of GoT because I'd heard a lot about it (hadn't read the books at that time), and fell in love with it. This lead to me subscribing to HBO, which I've had for the past several years. Same goes for AMC and The

Bah, I do that every time I eat turkey. Nothing better than a bunwich filled with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, veggies, and potatoes. I don't even layer it; just mush it together, and shovel it in a bun. It horrifies everyone, so I eat it alone. It's my secret shame- only, not. Because it's freaking

I'm probably more amused than I should be that his last name is Dixon.

For those who are as upset about #8 as I was (read: devastated!), I will suggest reading the new X-Files comic series. That's about as much as I'll say without being spoilery, but I think it will make fans feel a little bit better.

Seconded. Was going to make the same recommendation.

The timing of this is kind of awesome, because I've spent the past couple weeks watching House from the beginning (I missed out when it was on the air). Generally I would agree that the 'smartest man in the room' trope is a bit played out, but I like House because he's so flawed in basically every other way. Also,

Seriously. That was my favorite thing about PGSM, that the Shittenou were brought back and allowed to have lives and romances of their own. That show was flawed in a lot of ways, but that particular change from the anime and manga was very welcome. That and the fact that PGSM allowed the Senshi to go on and have

If Mamoru and Usagi can be resurrected (and, duh, of course they will), maybe the Shittenou can as well? Please? I'm hoping?

I doubt it will happen, but I'm going to cling to that hope because I agree that this was just such a waste. On the one hand, I realize that they sort of have to stay dead if they're going to

FFS. I can understand feeling violated by this, but to compare it to rape just makes me feel angry and gross- and not at all interested in listening to the above-mentioned leaked tracks. Tacky.

I'm so freaking excited and sad all at once.

It IS for android! It's called "Call the Tooth Fairy" and it's by Wil Corp. Software. It has a cute dialing feature and then the kids can "talk" to her and report a lost tooth, or let her know a tooth's going to fall out, soon. It's pretty awesome.

What made me laugh hardest about this video was that you can actually tell which is the Republican and which is the Democrat by their hairdos. I don't know why, but that's killing me.

For some reason, I'm more bothered by the spelling "catsup" than I am by the content of the article.

You've just described gingerbread houses at my place. Decorate, photograph, then immediately gorge.

Well, most of it, anyway. Then I wind up picking chunks off the husk for the rest of the evening (and when getting up to pee in the middle of the night) until I finally become disgusted enough with myself to toss it.

The tooth fairy has screwed up a few times, mostly due to my kids forgetting to tell me they've lost a tooth (and I don't seem to always be observant enough to notice it). I wound up telling them that, when the Tooth Fairy first got the job, there were far fewer kids in the world. Now that the world's so

I don't collect amiibos myself (there are three under the tree for my kids, though), and I haven't had a chance to use them as intended, so I can't really speak to this in particular. That said, I have been a collector of other things (comic books, bottles of nail polish, yarn, MLP mini figures, etc) and I think I

I know that at least one person's identity was confirmed via DNA analysis. He'd died when his boat overturned, and his body was never found. I believe most of the others were also matched up to people who'd committed suicide (though I'm not sure of the exact number of people identified in all).

I didn't know about this! This made me feel so happy (though also hard to watch). It's like she's Lois Lane again, who I was obsessed with when I was a pre-teen.

I used to be obsessed with Teri Hatcher back when she played Lois Lane (I was a kid, and loved the show more than anything)- but she hasn't been interesting to me in years.
