Aw, man, I didn't know you guys were congregating anywhere! I don't watch Reign so I missed all of that. Might go back through to find your threads in those reviews. And @avclub-8d21481602b5ba3b34a3b6861dbde2e1:disqus , I missed your recaps so much too, especially when the first half of the season was such an

And Stefan and Tom (and technically, Silas/Amara and everyone since they were both sort of in stasis for the last 2,000 years or something). The writers purposefully (I think) kept the doppelganger stuff vague so it could fit whatever purpose they needed it for.

Well, she didn't say series regulars. It was Caroline Dries, and she said three "major" deaths that would be permanent. (http://tinyurl.com/pv6caew). No matter how I do the math, that number doesn't check out. Stefan came back, so him plus Bonnie and Damon doesn't work. If you go with people on the Other Side who

But that can't really be true because there's no way Ian and Kat are both gone for good. So, she probably means death is real you know AFTER we bring back Damon and Bonnie. Then, it's for real for real, because the series is pretty much over anyway.

"So is Tyler just a werewolf now? Or is he human again? Is everyone that came back through from the Other Side human now? I HAVE QUESTIONS."

I could take another season of nothing but UST if it's Oliver pining instead of Felicity. They need to balance those scales a bit. Even if he stays cool around her, but reacts afterward, the viewers need to see that emotion from him as much as we've seen it from her.

Finn was most committed to his mother and her quest though. He agreed that his siblings, and vampires in general, were an abomination and was willing to sacrifice himself to rid the world of them. It's not a stretch to believe that he would follow her in her attempt to kill Klaus's child for the same reason.

Well, now that the actor's pilot has been canned, I do hope they jump on that and figure out a way to bring him back. Obviously they couldn't have known in time for either the TO or TVD finale, but if there is any loophole left, I hope they take it.

I think Rowan is just referring to the beginning of the season, when Stefan's characterization was all over the place—first, y'know, drowning for a few eps, then amnesiac, then revenge-obsessed. I still found him interesting, especially because PW excels when challenged, but it was sort of frustrating to watch Stefan

Do you think the spell is still going to hang over Mystic Falls? I've read something from the writers about a change in settings for Season 6, which I was thinking was going to be like half the characters stuck on the Other Side, but now I wonder if they're going to be stuck out of Mystic Falls for awhile.

I thought the spell was targeted only at vampires, not at humans or even werewolves (which have never been explained as having a witchy origin). So vampirism was reversed, as well as any other magic that has been done to the vampires. So presumably Tyler would still die, not just turn back to a werewolf, because he

I think Damon's going to end up trading places with him somehow, because it's time for him to disappear for three months instead of Stefan for once. But then yeah, I think one or both of them is going to end up human.

I think at least one of the deaths is going to be someone like Lexi or Alaric who we assumed would always be able to pop in from the other side. I don't think they're killing off three series regulars.

I can see all your points, and your fear that they're doing to Caroline the damage they've already done to Elena and Bonnie before her. I absolutely hope that's not the case, but with the writing the way it is…

"How do people who wanted them together think it went? Hasn't the way they've started it tarnished things already? Why can't Stefan be the insecure one this time around?"

Right? Stefan drowned over and over for three months. Suck it up, damn.

What bothers me w/r/t to the Mirakuru is that these should all be sort of uncontrollable rage monsters, right? Like, Roy was pretty normal, psychologically, and it seemed like a real struggle to keep himself under control (until Slade snapped him completely). So with a group of criminals, of presumably varied mental

I saw a few people here complain that this was just ridiculously stupid on his part, but don't we assume he just used a press release template with an automatic date footer? That seems careless to me, but not as stupid as typing in the early date intentionally.

I think she's going back to the League too. I think that's her leverage to get Nyssa and whoever else to come to this fight. And I say thank God, because that means she's (hopefully) staying alive.

Right. After she was turned back into a human from a vampire, the wound that killed her initially returned and caused her to die.
