It's the daughter issue that trips me up here too. I could imagine him inadvertently killing Emmett and Leanne, but not their daughter.

I took a 10 day trip to Spain in 1998 that was $1,800 (I remember because I had to save up every dollar for it), so Paige was getting close to having enough.
I understand that they want options for love interests for their female characters, but there are only three female regulars on the show at this point, to five guys. The last thing the show needs is another straight white male. Making Enzo straight is just a missed opportunity.
Sadly, no. I think that actor got a role on another CW show.
No, you're right. I'm guessing there's something else. Maybe the Travelers will get all the magic powers and leave the witches with nothing. But that only really affects the witches. Hmm.
That's true, it does add a wrinkle. And I suppose they knew all that time that Silas wasn't actually dead and neither was Katherine, but I guess they just couldn't find them? I mean, this bunch of idiot teens from Mystic Falls managed to find them in like a couple of months, but a whole band of Travelers could never…
That was #2, but I agree. They don't talk to each other about anything other than Stefan or an immediate threat, and most of those conversations are fights. And sometimes they talk about having sex, I suppose. If you're not together, then the latter option is out, and why would you put yourself through the fights if…
Guess I was still unclear: #4 is best IN a relationship. I think people who are in a relationship should also consider each other friends. So the reason I think that statement is especially stupid is that it was in response to Elena's question about whether she and Damon could ever have conversations "like this."…
I did enjoy his line about "this body is awesome." HA. True fact, Fake Tyler.
I think the way Markos told the story made it confusing for me, but the point was that they weren't actually destined to be together. Just that they would be drawn together by magic so that the Travelers would have a better chance of getting blood from both at once, right? And then the blood would be used for MAGICKS…
There are actually four possible combinations of in love and friends, right? 1) You're friends, and not in love. 2) You're in love with each other, but are not friends. 3) You're only friends, but you are in love with the other person. 4) You're in love with each other AND you're friends.
"“I think you can either be friends with someone, or be in love with them. I don’t think you can be both.” Bullshit, Stefan."
I think the Traveler story will aid in giving Stefan/Elena closure by somehow ending the "curse" so that they're released from it. They need that to happen, for both sides of the triangle. If they did want Stelena in the end, they need it happen without the influence of the "universe." If they want Delena, same issue.…
I agree that the triangle is central to the show, and I don't actually mind that. I'm not basing my thoughts on what I wish would happen—if I did that, I would wish for Elena to find herself again, and ultimately end up with Stefan. Because I think they're great and their story doesn't make me feel gross.
Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous that in 1,000 years of life, only Rebekah seems to have found that she's a little ways down the Kinsey scale. But whatever, it was as close to text as this show gets that Klaus was in love with Stefan, so in my head, that's the truth.
It seems like Elena doesn't know about Damon threatening Jeremy yet, but at this point it doesn't seem like that big a drama, so I don't know if they're saving it or if they just don't want to deal with it. But if she did know, I wouldn't think she'd be so shocked that Jer didn't want ot live there anymore.
I don't believe the writers intend Stefan and Elena to be the "endgame" couple anymore. I think they DID, with Damon as the obstacle. But then the fandom pushed and pushed and at this point, I think they're looking for a viable option for Stefan, and Caroline is it. I was against it too, but I no longer see her…
Carrie, I vote that you feel GREAT about the Caroline and Stefan stuff. Here's why:
"Rosa died eight years ago."
A+ General Hospital reference. I'm impressed that he's able to do more than smirk in other roles at least.
