Right? Lots of us don’t want to see human suffering. The difference arises in the what-to-do-about-it part. Or, now that I think about it, the fact that lots of us don’t want to see human suffering because we would prefer those particular humans were not suffering.

One of my all-time party conversations was hearing two of my favorite ladies discuss how they and their late 1980s college friends would prank each other with the Prince posters. “Was it the one in the thong?” “They were all in a thong!” (Two different schools, BTW. It was A Thing.)

That segment was great, altho I was sad to learn there’s a reasonable explanation for “Ima fix wolves.”

Ooh, double creature with former faces would be hilarious.

I agree that she’s looked frail for years, but I don’t think she gets thinner and thinner. I think extreme thinness looks more dramatic as you age.

And the “no, really, I’m serious about fashion. Look, I learned designers’ names and everything.” No one is saying you’re not earnest about fashion, Kanye, we’re saying you’re not good at it.

The image of Kanye in Amanda’s jacked-up wigs is going to be hard to shake.

I’m a little miffed that I had to scroll so far to find somebody questioning “plush-bottomed.” Even trying to enunciate my questions about what message he’s trying to convey with that turns me into that Nathan Fillion gif.

I didn’t know the Jamaica Kincaid tidbit. TY!

Sad about the original article but Clover fixed it for us. This comments section is the only piece of decency on my internet today.

Oh dear god who told him about the 10th Amendment?

I lasted 45 seconds. God those poor people.

Kinda fair seeing as it’s the only one that uses the word “regulated.”

I can’t bear any of the tv shows but I follow her on Twitter because she’s so dang likeable.

I did not know that statistic about preschoolers. The relative pressure inside and outside of my skull just changed dramatically.

What the actual fuck is going on in these comments? I saw coverage of the announcement that there would be a protest on lots and lots of mainstream national news sites and platforms. The fact that no one showed is newsworthy. So is the fact that a public official blamed an attack on his home on a Beyonce video.

Love the irony of anyone in this crew wearing that “Everything Counts” jacket.

I should have noted that it’s from Mashable.
