I would think a couple of drops of tea tree oil would be a good additive as well and would help with it's anti-bacterial properties (it's also good for the skin and will wake you up!)

I use DisplayFusion. The free version is just fine for my two monitors and it allows for multiple backgrounds, plus I get used to switching windows between monitors by middle clicking on the program. Also it allows for hot key's to minimize, send to right half, top half, second monitor etc..)
