I don't want to do it either, despite many friends and coworkers getting back into it. I did the hardcore raiding thing in WoW (vanilla-TBC) and FFXIV; I like having unscheduled free time now. But I know that if I were to start playing again, I'd push as hard as possible.

I installed Twine last night and spent 6 hours prototyping a game and learning the Harlowe scripting/markup. I have no programming background and it's been forever since I looked at CSS, so I felt like an infant, but it was rewarding to get a playable closed-loop.

My go-to spot near work is a deli in an office building owned by a Korean family. Styrofoam container loaded with chicken teriyaki over fried rice, some salad, and an egg roll. They also do a really good fried fish sandwich — Korean-style fry. Wish they would actually add bibimbap to their menu.

20 hours in, the game feels narrow. Despite doing every single sidequest up to this point, I feel funneled through the narrative in a way that didn't hit me in Human Revolution. A lot of it has to do with the novelty of the protagonist and setting in HR, but I also haven't developed an attachment to any of the side

Can't wait to see Kishi Bashi live.

I like this album a lot so far, especially the sparse/lush "Alone / With You".

Fucking awesome.

:(

Extremely fair review. With better structuring than the episode itself.

I liked the movie a lot, but the most exciting part is knowing Rian Johnson is taking over.

The worldbuilding is great enough to where I'm willing to invest in the first season at least. It's definitely the little things that add up.

Picturesque greenery maybe? Unless the greenery is dashingly roguish.

Loved the Buried Giant. I was surprised it didn't get reviewed here.

What a badass.

I'm only about 4 hours into MGS V, but I appreciate its visceral elegance. Right now, my only real complaint is that the PC port performs really well but lacks that extra effort in UI conversion.

It's great to finally have an episode that hits all the high points of narrative coherence with tight pacing, solid characterization, and — not to be undervalued — sick action. The tracking shot of Jon Snow slicing through zombies was a nice visual touch, if not quite up to Oldboy-hallway-fight standards.

I would love to see all of the unexplained deaths at Winterfell be a result of a scheming killer whale.

It can be emulated on any halfway-decent current gaming PC.
