This. Saying Rivian Is Preparing for Money Troubles Ahead” should actually read “Rivian is taking steps to avoid money troubles ahead.”

2nd Gear: The connector Tesla came up with is certainly much more elegant that what the rest of the industry came up with.

The only way to stop a bad person with a Jeep, is a good person with a Jeep.

Piquet is a piece of trash. He is also adament that Senna was gay and still uses it against him in derogatory ways.

Hey, you can get it for $52,729 if you trade in the exact same car!

Dammit, your supposed to be mad; common sense with statistics will get you greyed around here. Take that shit to Consumer Reports.

I don’t think anyone with any measure of intelligence is recommending ditching a perfectly good car for an expensive EV to save money. That argument comes in a little bit when comparing new cars when you’re ready to get one. Gas where I live is about $4.30/gallon right now. If I fill up once a week, that’s about

I think anyone who is savvy about EVs is going to be aware of both. I’m not sure that Toyota has that much more brand cache’ over Subaru...perhaps with EVs but goes back to my first point if buyers know they are the same car they are going to prefer the one with a tax credit.

It’s unfair to pick apart a prototype for its specific issue related to non-serial build quality.  General issues and serial build quality will be enough to pick it apart when its time.

Corporations get years to correct financial mistakes. Meanwhile the common citizen gets their lives destroyed in just weeks if someone else makes a mistake. Consumer protections in the US is garbage. Contact your representatives! Tell them to do their job and make life better for us.

Any of the discussions regarding Norway’s oil exports aside, part of the reason why so many individuals & companies in Norway are buying EVs is because the nation is incentivizing it’s population to actually do so. Buyers of EVs receive all sorts of registration & tax breaks, key of which include no purchase/import
