The SpaceX version will have rocket thrusters. Even the regular version will have a top speed of at least 250 MPH. I think it is cute that you don’t realize what people with a deep understanding of physics can achieve when they design a sport car. Have I mentioned the rocket thrusters? They will aid in both thrust and

You really need to keep up with the news better. The Model 3 has a very different battery from the S and X, and it does not need to go into limp mode. People are racing it against ICE cars on tracks and winning. The new Roadster will also not go into limp mode, it will just keep destroying all hope of an ICE car ever

Range of 620, will not overheat, assume average speed of 150 MPH and you should get at least six sessions.

The Performance Model 3 will dominate the M3 everywhere. Video very likely the next few weeks.

Isn’t it great that you get to recycle your prediction from 2007-2008 when you were wrong and try again?

Yep, and this happened over and over for more than a week at Tesla with no one noticing?

Think this one through with me, folks:

We were promised a competitor to the Model 3 “with Italian styling” a year after the release of the Model 3 by FCA. I am starting to think that car is vaporware.

Tesla Roadster will do 0-60 in 1.9 and the prototype already achieves that.

Actually, half a million people find the panel gaps and price very acceptable, that is why they are waiting years to buy a Model 3. Maybe performance and comfort and features and ride quality is not important for you, and your priority for a car is good panel gaps, but most people are not like you.

Yeah, I mean Musk started out with a $27,000 loan twenty two years ago, founded Zip2 and wrote every line of code, sold it, started PayPal and sold it, started SpaceX and taught himself rocket science so he could design the first privately funded rocket to make it to Low Earth Orbit, then became CEO of Tesla and made

Yep, at least until Q3 of this year Tesla cannot make a profit.

And the reality is that there is less chance of Tesla going bankrupt in the next decade than any other automaker, and a good number of them will. At some point Tesla might buy GM if they see value there.

Baloney. Take away R & D and growth expenses and Tesla has nearly always run at a profit, even just taking away R & D gets you close to breaking even most quarters.

Why so much doubt about Tesla releasing it’s new Roadster? Has Tesla ever failed to release a planned new model?

The battery is there for the performance, the range is a side-effect. The need for a huge battery is so it can accelerate that fast and not overheat while being driven hard mile after mile.

Even best case scenario HFCV technology increases demand for electricity, far more than EVs do because it uses three times the power an EV uses to get the same amount of thrust to the wheels, keeping coal and natural gas power plants going longer when we face a huge cllimate change crisis. And for what? The vehicles

Yes, a short intense fire of highly pressurized hydrogen being suddenly released from a small valve and ignited. Sounds like a big flame thrower, right? Suppose that flame thrower is pointed at you, trapped in your car after a multiple vehicle crash, do you still support HFCV technology as you are rapidly incinerated?
