It was. Someone in the comments objected to the 'minus'; wonder if the author changed it. Heh.

I thought that was deliberate, the soundtrack was…uncomfortable.

That was my immediate conclusion as well.

I'm sure they'll call back to it/reference it in the coming episodes.

I think it helped that he died horribly and fairly slowly. Drogo is an interesting character but he did basically buy a child bride.

Oh you sweet Summer child.

I laughed and almost wept and almost screamed at the "In the pantry." line. This show has a way of pulling out a bevy of emotions in me, many very conflicted, I think that's part of its strength.

I actually love the time given to release dialogue on this show. Every word can be appreciated in its own right and it adds to the surrealism and the drawn-out pain of this show.

Dancy's performance sold me from the first episode and made me want to see everything else he's been in. I really believe his pain and I can see it and feel it. His is a very strong performance in a string of strong performances in this show.

Also, Hannibal knows that Alana won't be in his thrall forever and this is also interesting because doesn't Will tell his wife in "Red Dragon" to have a gun/train with a gun using dialogue very similar to what we

Can confirm there are no In-N-Out Burgers in Maryland. :(

Yep, as amazing (clever, and original) as "I was fucking my girlfriend…or your mum." ;)

And we know Hannibal is a conservationist! See the tree-man episode.

I definitely felt that but didn't trust it because Fuller plays with my expectations. :)

It would be like saying that at the beginning of the episode which aired AFTER the Purple Wedding.
