Somehow I knew this day would come :)
I absolutely agree with you. Turning my phone and ipad off is my escape from reality every time I travel :)
Sorry to hijack your response;
I am overly sad for you because I am in that exact same boat. My cat was healthy and super active and went downhill fast. It made me realize that she won't be around forever and, as corny as it's sounds, I think I'm going to have a difficult time dealing with it. She was also adopted. But....
Awe that's sad :(
Lmfao! What world are you living in? 140 lbs, at that height, is a healthy weight and not even close to plus sized. SMH.
Have you been having to clean up after Persephone?
Aw, that's cute :) I have a few saguaro cacti grown from seeds I purchased in Arizona when I took a road trip to the west coast/central US a couple years ago. Unfortunately they don't have names!
Oh how I dream of her putting the toys away as she drags them out. Yes, she pretty much runs this ship here! However, she is known to play fetch if I sit on the floor with her. Once in awhile I'll wake up and find toys on my bed beside me. Ugh, I'm a sucker for cuteness :)

Oh dear, I'd hate to see you go up in flames like that so soon :(
Lmao your plants have names?! What about your cat? LOLZ

Thanks! I try not to be so darn hard on myself. I fear the unknown quite often. I was always adamant that I would never have children. I made that decision back in my early teens, but over the past year or so I think my mind might be shifting directions.
You have much going for you, my friend. Keep your chin up!
Travelling soon?.....
Lol! Very true. I often worry about the whole 'biological clock' thing. But I try not to let it get in the way of enjoying life, even it is mostly a singular one.
Welcome to my world. Only a few months shy of 30. Heads up though, at least your fertility bank isn't expiring any time soon :)
Despite the booming house market and economy in Regina, SK, where rental vacancy is less than 0.5%, I chose to recently sell my house and invest what I had left over (after another down payment). As a single homeowner, becoming a landlord was far too risky for me — not to mention far too much work as I relocated out…
