Doesn't quite match the tragedy of McNair, but in my two leagues last year I had Ray Rice in one and Adrian Peterson in the other so that sort of torpedoed the season for me.

I got spoiled with my first run through Arena, I lucked into a good deck and was able to rattle off 8 wins. Then my next deck was limp noodle and I only mustered 1.
I'm in the same boat. Every time I sit down and play I look up a few hours later and realize that all I did was clear some tiny corner of the map of question marks.
Seriously? My god Bill Gates must be rolling over in his mosquito-net-covered grave.
Still loving the hell out of Witcher III, I finished the Bloody Baron's story line and got the, well, pretty depressing ending. I'm really enjoying the story line avoiding the paragon rogue duality, seemingly everything is a shade of grey, and trying to choose the least shitty outcome can still come back to bite you…
Wasn't Viewtiful Joe framed as a movie?
I immediately reverted back to the old circle double-tap. Otherwise when I was frantically maneuvering with the left stick I would inadvertently jump, leaving me open to death.
I will admit it's been a long while since I've played Skyrim, but more strategy is required than simply attacking all out, or retreating and blasting fireballs. There's planning and prep work that needs to go into each battle for knowing the enemies weakness. Also, there are different strategies between fighting…
The actual "quest" side quests I've most enjoyed (Keira's storyline being the main one), and I've really liked the detective style work of the Witcher contracts, I feel like a grey-haired, non-grumpy Batman. But most of the question marks are just monster pits or bandit camps which definitely get old quickly, I share…
Finally picked up Witcher III last week and may actually have some time to sink into it this weekend. It's my first witching experience and I must say I'm pretty impressed, it is very Skyrim like, but the combat is more complicated (in a good way) and the world seems somehow more realistic, despite maintaining many…
Did anyone ever get above the second promotion in that game? I used to play the hell out of it, and I think I made it to the second round of missions maybe 10 times, never the third.
For whatever reason DKC3 is the only one I completed to the 105% or whatever the amount was when you unlocked all the levels. Kiddy Kong is absolutely the worst though.
For those situations I tend to switch on the fly between the standard behind-the-car and the ball-cam views. I may have to give this zoomed out a try though.
Like many others, much of my procrastination time is spent on this site. I also usually have a few word games (Words/Scramble) with friends running that I can always pick up if I need non-CPU distraction; for longer bouts I also have Catan on the phone. I'm also one of a dying few that usually tries to grab all the…
Wasn't Evolve sort of the Godzilla-esque game everyone wanted?
Well whatever inter-galactic phenomenon that merged the DC and Marvel Universes clearly affected the heroes' powers in strange ways.
To sum it up most simply it's 2D Minecraft. But since crafting in 2D isn't quite as fun as 3D it has more of a "story" or adventure mode to go through. Their are bosses to fight, lots of different types of weapons, and NPCs who you create a village (or a tower) to live in.
Oooh, what's in the new update. I usually bounce around my sandbox games between Minecraft, Starbound, and Terraria. Any new bosses or substantive changes?
Translates roughly to Pepsi.
Always and forever FTL on the iPad is great. I'm also a big fan of the Infinity Blade series on the iPad, if you're looking for more twitch-based gameplay. But it would probably a bit awkward on airplanes and in airports as you'd be constantly elbowing your neighbor. I also knocked out some pretty healthy chunks of …
